It's honestly insane how good "Stretching Things" (from Fantastic Fears #5) is for Steve Ditko's first work in comics. Lawrence Dawson is so different and freaky compared to most of Ditko's characters.

Like look at how he draws Mr. Fantastic or Sandman. For fluid characters, they're a little stiff like most of his characters. But Dawson is absolutely disgusting in his flexibility. It's fascinating!

Just discovered the Bell System Science Series and God these are really charming. I've only seen Alphabet Conspiracy and some of Our Mr. Sun so far, but I am obsessed now!

They've got some impressive talent like Frank Capra, Chuck Jones, Friz Freleng, Robert McKimson, and Hans Conried. Plus Frank C. Baxter is fantastic in these as well. He was an actual college professor, but in a truly unique move at the time they actually let him host.

Mythbusters, Adam Conover, Bill Nye, and Neil deGrasse Tyson were definitely inspired even unknowingly by Frank C. Baxter's role in the series with "real smart guy can host the show and it will still be fun".

Unfortunately the last film seems to be hosted by Walt Disney instead of Frank C. Baxter so not watching that one. Plus don't think there's any old Looney Tunes directors on that either.

The North American box art for Mega Man was created in 1 night in the 80s. It lives on forever as a celebration of the franchise, how far it's come, & the long gone era where you could get that.

Comparatively, AI "art" is barely remembered for a day.

Art from humans always wins.
