Pulling good stuff from my archives due to CV19 Lock-in. Lakenheath, about 3 years ago, seems I was the only spotter who got this extraordinary picture after taking a long walk around the airfield.

“This tunnel was used by the gardners arriving to and returning from work in the walled gardens. They would enter via the small doorway behind you, which has been bricked up.  This was so they would not be seen from the Hall (which has now been demolished).”...
Nowadays, Lady Rose Hare, the current owner of Stow Hall Gardens, enjoys the site of gardeners and opens these wonderful parkland gardens to the public. If you love your gardens, make a special point to visit.  These are some of the finest gardens in England. They have a rare collection ancient fruit trees including some unique apple varieties, its own cricket pitch, croquet lawn and mile-long 'chase'
