trying to keep up the momentum! here's something fresh off the presses in senseific

“I know that you and Kitakata-sensei have always been, well...” Amasawa wrung her hands.

“Never got along?” He supplied.

“Never got along.” She repeated. “And it was great when you two managed to work together for the Dance Club, though in the aftermath things have probably been, um, strange, and with Itokura—”

Yagami put up his hand to stop her before she could continue. “No, no. It’s alright. None of that has been... It’s played a role, yes, but none of that is to blame.”

Amasawa gave him a serious look. “Really?”

“Really.” He answered. “It’s between us. It’s our own fault, really.”

Mostly Kitakata’s, Yagami wanted to supply, but Yagami felt bad enough to have Amasawa caught between the two of them, so he kept that to himself.
