theres a thunderstorm going on right now and im thinking about how the entire todd family is seen as cautionary tales for things that were completely out of their control and to be forever immortalised for it after their deaths. father with bruised knuckles, mother forever in her bed, son of mine now son of his — dead. don't try to save your family and don't try to live because you're rude and violent (edit: and poor) and they said you had it coming. now is that true? well whatever! nothing major, nothing new, another crime alley tragedy, just too ugly for pearls.

jason todd getting his first boyfriend (first relationship) and the family being floored because half of them thought he was aroace (he is, he can still be in a relationship) and the other half thought he could never pull anyone, much less a hot guy.

then they find out said guy is Kyle Rayner (aka a GREEN LANTERN) and thus assume this is a big fuck you to bruce.

but bruce still has 15yd jason "never been kissed" todd in his head so he assumes kyle and jason are really good friends.. best friends, like wally and dick are (cough). there's a betting pool for when he figures it out. tim put a grand in that it won't happen until after the eventual wedding ceremony. (there's also a betting pool for how long the jaykyle relationship lasts since kyles partners tend.. to not be around for long)
