"Have you been ignoring me, Johnny?" @the-last-laugh

"Boss--" he sort of huffs out a breath in disbelief, didn't he always make sure he was readily available to Joker at all hours of the day? Making sure his ringtone for his calls would be impossible to ignore and at full blast so he won't sleep through it. If he calls at 3AM he'll have his shoes on and be out the door by 3:10 no matter how sleep deprived he is, he'd drop just about anything for him.

All because Jonny was determined to be his dependable, go to guy.

"I'm at your beck and call." he put a hand to his chest, voice exuding sincerity while a smile tugged at the upper corner of his mouth, flashing molars. "What made you doubt that?"

Okay that time he was pretty sure he heard muffled yelling coming from inside, he takes another quick drag while pulling open the sliding glass door to call back, "Were you calling for me boss? I'm just out here on the balcony having a cig.."

What are you wearing right now?: Junji ito Tomie hoodie and skeleton leggings with a spiked choker. Feeling Ghoulish Goth today.

How tall are you: 5'4

Piercings / tattoos?: I have standard lobe ear piercings + earlier this year I got two helixs and an industrial bar in my left ear. I also got a left inner wrist tattoo of ghost face on a knife that matches my fiancé's Jason machete =v=

Glasses / contacts: Glasses.

Last thing you ate?: Buckwheat noodles dressed in a sweet and spicy teriyaki-cocoaminos sesame sauce with furikake, sauteed red onions, bok choy and brocollini with a chicken kabob.

Favorite color: Teal! Mint! Periwinkle! Just the entire spectrum between pastel blue & green.

Current obsession: Made in Abyss, been collecting too many figures and now even playing it on the switch. That's also all applicable to Moomins! Which are two very different vibes lmao (now picturing Moomins traveling into the abyss asdfgh)

Do you have a crush right now?: well i do sorta like my fiancé I guess lmao

Favorite fictional character: Nanachi, Faputa & Bondrewd from Made in Abyss, Snufkin & Moomin, also fond of Geto Suguru & Mahito from Jujutsu Kaisen.

"So-... Is it TRUE, dear?" She glances this way and that, to make sure no one is listening, "Does that clown you work for actually have a baby?" (Lol can you tell I picked up the Joker: One Operation Joker manga? x'D)

@red-hemlock "Nn--" he blinks in bewilderment, and then squints, eyebrows drawing in and scrunching together, "Noo?" taking a 'healthy' drag from his cig while looking straight up at the sky, not knowing whether to picture a normal baby or one with white skin and green hair. He snorts and shoots her an odd smile.

"Not that I know of at least??" it was as funny as it was disturbing to imagine the giggle of a baby replaced with his Boss' signature cackle. Shaking his head to dispel the image his mind was conjuring up.

@babydxhl continued from x The silence that blankets the front hall of her apartment — Mary, leaning against a doorframe, silhouetted in a rectangle of warm kitchen light, and Jonny, still in the door, ghoulish — is almost a solid weight pressing down on both of them. Mary thinks faintly, if she had been younger, it might have curved her shoulders, sent her eyes down. As it is she only flicks her gaze back toward the still dark living room, dismissing Miriam and her drawn weapon. No threat, not here, not even in the middle of the night. She inhales, and the smell of iron clings to the back of her throat. Her expression is unreadable. "Your blood or someone else's?" she asks quietly, after a long moment.

Jonny's brows are high and arching. His legs ached from walking here. He looks drained. Hollowed out inside. Empty.

It's the dead of night. He didn't know why he decided to come here specifically, well maybe just because it was conveniently close? Probably yeah. Didn't hurt that he knew she wasn't going to call the cops like his Ex-wife definitely would have. Hell, he didn't even recall making the conscious choice to come here, it's like his legs just decided to carry him here while in a daze instead of the usual spot.. which is where he should be right now, overlooking the city from up high till he sees what could be his last sun rise, instead of here, bothering her.

His entire upper half is very thoroughly painted, not just spattered but an even coat of red, save for some smudges and tear streaks to his face. It was a miracle no one had seen him and called the cops.

Eyes unfocused until her question shatters his delicate detachment, it demanded an answer which forced him to recall exactly what had happened that night. Which he instinctually shied away from--like a hand to an open flame, it burned the closer you got.

“Someone else’s.” the second word catches in his throat. He can’t help the emotion that wells up in his throat like bile, anguish. Mouth twisting into a frown. The creases in his worried brow multiplying. Swallowing it back down he tries desperately to keep his composure in front of her.

But frankly he looked shell shocked.

The blood had long since cooled but it had been so warm when he'd initially been soaked. Like just getting into a hot shower. But he felt so cold now, cold to his bones.

“Mostly..” he adds softly as he cast his eyes downward at his upturned palm. A little tiny bit of the blood drenching his formerly powder blue suit was his, a nasty gash to his palm courtesy of Joker.

you crave a hug that cracks your ribs…the feeling of your wandering soul being crushed back into the bones that can't seem to hold it. you need a hand gripping yours so tightly you almost fear it may leave a bruise, a reminder that you are here. and the you are not alone

What Emotion Are You?

Guilt

Your guilt gnaws at you like a cancer, slowly destroying you from the inside. It is a constant reminder of the mistakes you have made, of the people you have hurt, of the opportunities you have wasted. You deserve to suffer for what you have done, and the only way you can atone is by punishing yourself, by making yourself suffer. You want to torture yourself, knowing you let everything happen, and your pentinence will eat you whole. It is a small price to pay for the pain you have caused others, but do you truly deserve it?

I love how Jonny Jonny is high tier sucidal(I mean you have to be to work for the Joker) but so nervous about any danger that so much as looks his way.

Like if you wanna die so bad just tell your boss his jokes are painfully mid and get it over with instead of these rooftop hangouts flirting with the idea.
