Still here
Hey everybody -- wanted to make a post to let y'all know that we are still here. As you can probably understand, the last few years have proven a bit challenging on the personal side of things. However, I (as the wordsmith) am hoping to get back to posting more frequently.
We are still on the bird app @JEffingMurney and are looking into other ways to share with you. (Suggestions are welcome!)
Thanks to any of you who have hung in there with us.

Note
hey!! Do you have a full bootleg of Julia in Wicked?? I can't find one for the life of me.
Hey Anon. Our apologies, but we're not in the bootleg business. I know that there are still groups around that do trades and such. (I'd check places like reddit and groups.io)
Good luck!

Happy Birthday, Julia!
The past year has been A YEAR. Things have remained challenging and maddening and, yet, joy still remains. One reason? Because of Julia Murney.
Her Instagram full of sunshine. The simple, “gurl” she responds to fools on twitter. Online audio and videos that newer fans find and share for the first time. The favorites that long-time fans seek out for comfort. The excitement when she pops up on TV (A lot of Succession watchers this year, plus the continued L&O and SatC rerun surprises).
That, despite everything, she is still just as supportive and loving -- cheering on her friends from the audience, bringing social-distance appropriate treats, sharing these little moments with all of us.
We were lucky enough to get to see Julia perform live again, whether at a small theatre in Naples, FL, at a loft in NYC, or through virtual interviews and shows.
Thank you, Julia, for continuing to be a part of our lives. Happiest of birthdays to you. May this next year be full of love and light. We can’t wait to see where you go.

Sunday’s Sondheim tribute was captured by a number of the best theatre photographers. The professionally taken images here are from Jenny Anderson, Marc J Franklin, and Michael Hull. The two photos at the end were shared by Jelani Remi. NOTE: If any of the photographers featured here would like us to remove their work, please contact us on Twitter @JEffingMurney. Stephen Sondheim passed away last weekend and, most appropriately, the theatre community came together on Sunday to honor him. Thanks to the efforts of Erich Bergen and Jeremy Leiner, the tribute swiftly came together. Theatre press was there, and Playbill had the favorite capture of the event.

Next up from The Last 5 Years UCLA concert:
Julia Murney -- See, I’m Smiling.
(FYI - the California weather/environment took a little toll on Julia’s voice before this show, but the way she gets through it says so much. It also works so well with Cathy’s weariness.)

This is a day of hope once again in the U.S. We have a long way to go to heal and begin to fix what broke over the last four years, but today is a step back onto the just path. Here’s Julia and Eva Noblezada saying it best.
