  Yes. 

    I mean, something like that!

    I have NO idea. Saturo is really interesting, isn’t he?

   My first idea was that he was indeed related to the Satos which still makes the most sense. He invented a car-cart-thing, aka, basically the Sato-mobile, he is of the Fire Nation, nephew of a rich business owner, future-industry-oriented, beautiful, and yeah.

    I was really taken with the idea of the comic. We saw citizens of every nation, working in the factory, wearing the EXACT same clothes Bolin and Mako wear (I thought perhaps this was a future Republic City factory or their parents worked there), we saw who I thought was Asami’s grandfather, and then there was Aang, Korra’s past life, in the middle of it all. I loved it. Like a sneak peak into the Legend of Korra. 

    And then there was Saturo and Toph’s obvious romance. And her having a daughter with curly hair, darker skin, and a interest in industry, cities and all that and OMG He HAS to be Su’s father. 

    I have no idea.

Upon having read The Rift, I can’t help being passionate about my Headcanon that this adorable brilliant doofus (Satoru) is Su Yin’s father. I can’t be the only one who sees the resemblance.
