just got my BPD diagnosis today. but now nobody can know that the main reason I sought professional help was because of the league of legends show “arcane”. I never played the game, I was a small child when it came out and only ever heard how awful the fan base was. I actually avoided the show like the plague because I was confident that it was pure fan service that would require understanding the game’s lore to watch. But I watched it with my boyfriend anyway, for the LGBTs. He saw in real time how I reacted to Jinx/Powder. I thought I was just hyper-fixating on her the same way I did Harley Quinn in middle school, but then I watched those “therapist reacts”. suddenly I felt understood, I could swap Jinx’s past with mine and it all still made sense. her thoughts, her reactions and responses felt like someone had made a blue haired girl version of myself and then gave her unrestricted access to explosives. the exact thing I said to my boyfriend was “she feels like someone made an extreme caricature of my mind”. I’m so happy that I connected these dots, and I’ll be referred to a therapist for real life treatment going forward. but at the same time, I’m extremely aware that if I tell ANYONE (outside of tumblr) “Jinx from League of Legends/Arcane made me realize I have BPD” people just won’t believe me. I take solace in knowing that there HAS to be other folks who have a similar experience to this, and I’d honestly love to know if anyone does. I’m honestly proud of myself for finally taking the first steps in managing my mental health, especially for something as difficult to talk about as BPD. I’m just glad that Jinx was there to “grimsically” show me what I needed to see to understand myself.

So, one of the cleanup artists posted the shot they did of the scene where Tilla's face goes up in flames and I gotta admit, watching that scene without any of the special effects like the fire, for example, just makes the scene so much more brutal.

Like just look at how clearly you can see Tilla's skull disintegrate into a bunch of tiny pieces in the cleanup shot.

Also shows just how much care and attention to detail are put into helluva boss' animation as well.
