These are all sketches for a graphic novel I’m working on (title pending) I’m trying to figure out how to consistently draw the same people and it’s a struggle lmao.

Below, I started drawing the character in the middle (his name is Danny and he’s the MC) and suddenly realised I did not know how to draw a foot

Trying to figure it out again genuinely almost broke me, hence the fifty million shoes drawn. It’s like when you say a word over and over and it begins to sound wrong or made up? I think I did this here but with drawing shoes and everything just felt off :’)

Figuring out helmets, because I know what a helmet looks like, but for some reason as soon as it comes to drawing one, I have no idea what a helmet looks like

Slightly incoherent world building sketches - I really suck at drawing backgrounds >:( but we persevere

Might add to this with other bits and bobs as I continue, but I’m mostly writing the story out so don’t do much actual art for it atm - it’s taking a bit of a mental toll on me and I just want to draw it >:((( am currently on like 22,000 words (for what was supposed to be fhe fricken chapter synopsis) and have a few more chapters to go so wish me luck :’)

I’d love to know if there’s anything you guys would like to see more of! I’m still figuring out tumblr again after not being on here for a while (I had an account back in like 2016 but we don’t talk about that) so lmk if there’s anything you want more / less of! :>

I know 100 people isn’t a huge amount in the grand scheme of social media and I’m being overly soppy but it genuinely means a lot to me - I definitely had a bit of a wobble with my confidence, especially in terms of art, over the recent years (thanks instagram) so starting fresh and having people leave genuinely lovely comments and replies has really meant a lot to me (I definitely don’t just sit and smile to myself reading them all like an idiot)

But anyway! Thank you guys a lot :> please do let me know if you have anything you’d like to see more of - my asks / dms are always open for requests too! (I might not always get around to things immediately but I will at some point - these are genuinely helpful to me too as I try to build up a tattoo portfolio but more on that at another time)
