the age old saying goes: if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. theme makers don’t HAVE to code themes for you (let me just say its fucking hard, too). theme makers WILL change / accommodate you if you ask. as a theme maker without eyesight problems (thankfully), i make themes i want to use + release them with the notion that if others WANT to use them, then they can too. they don’t HAVE to, + also if you message us at vcnilla we’ll make the theme bigger ?? like we’ll literally CHANGE THE FUCKING SIZE. if you can’t be BOTHERED to learn to code, then you have NO RIGHT to complain about codes people who CAN CODE do. we aren’t being unaccommodating. you can’t say that - theme makers on tumblr aren’t businesses. we don’t have to accomodate everyone, we don’t have a target audience, we aren’t being fucking paid. we make themes because we want to, + we release them because others may want to use them too. we have no obligation to do anything for anyone, + just because our theme is too small for your liking, it doesn’t give you any right to make posts thinking y’all high + mighty, shading people + being mean about their HARD WORK just because YOU don’t like it. you know if you walk into a store, + you see a piece of clothing you don’t like.. what do y’all do ?? YOU WALK AWAY FROM IT, YOU DON’T BUY IT. you don’t stand there screaming + shouting because a store released a piece of clothing to the public that doesn’t fit your needs or wants. we aren’t being paid for this shit, + it ain’t that deep. there are cute themes out there that are bigger + if you want, we’ll make them theme bigger for you (provided you don’t be disrespectful). y’all so big + mighty behind computer screens you think it’s OUTRAGEOUS that somebody who does something for themselves because they enjoy it doesn’t think of YOU when they release it to the public, + that’s so ?? closed minded. if you don’t like the theme or the god damn size, don’t use it or get off your fucking high horse + just send the maker a message asking for it bigger. y’all have no argument here —- there are no cute themes that are bigger well yes there are, but also the cute themes that aren’t bigger can be made bigger upon request. you’re all ableist + rude because your themes aren’t big in the first place; it’s not fair people with bad eyesight have to ask for themes to be accommodated to fit their needs WE’RE DOING THIS FOR FREE + FOR US.
