Application Form - Closing 18th of November

It's here! You can now access the Application Form for the DGM 20th Anniversary redraw.

In this form, you will be able to apply for four roles :

-Page artist (for redrawing the regular pages) -Cover artist (for the covers and chapter illustrations) -Doodle Artist (to do a bonus doodle at the end of the zine) -Writer (to write a few words about what DGM is to you or whatever else you come up with) You may apply for however many roles or pages you'd like! You'll have 5 months (from December to April) to complete your piece(s) once the assignments are out. Once you have completed the Application Form we will send you a link to the Discord server of the project, so please, make sure you write the correct email and discord handle! If we haven't contacted you before the closing date of the application form on the 18th of November, please, send us a PM! If you're unsure about your English level, mods fluently speak English, French, Spanish and Japanese and other contributors will surely be able to help you for other languages. If you have any questions, leave a comment below or send a PM. Also, consider rebbloging so as many DGM fan as possible can see it! On that note, welcome aboard!

I've been focusing exclusively on OCs anyway...... I don't feel confident enough to make fanart when surrounded by so many amazing artists everywhere! (No need to pep talk me, I know it's silly!!!) Fingers crossed I get it together eventually....

Halfway through inktober surprise!

I’ve had this file sitting around for literally three years, unable to figure out what to do with it…. until now! Originally drawn for my first artist book in 2018 about the presence of women in myth, history, and literature, I made another version for my illustration portfolio in 2020 and now I have another for my 2022 portfolio :)

Somehow, @daihell and I each made our own boy in completely different settings so incredibly similar they're even the same damn height....... But I didn't find that out until after I thought about my son, Erakur, trying on Elden's (Erl's son) very large armor.

Erakur may be the right height, but nowhere near the right build to wear Elden's armor. I wonder if it would work any better on Aren? Very wrong height but right build? Hmmmm 🤔

Still working on finding a comfortable coloring process that I also like. Seems like everything is one or the other but never replicable. Ah well

I actually like just lines best but I know it gets low engagement from audiences and idk how much of the other versions stem from that knowledge and a desire to be marketable versus the inherent artistic need to Fiddle.

Anyway, twitter reminded me it’s been seven years since Inquisition which is whack because that means I made Rini before my little nephew was even born and viewing the passage of time against a living human being makes things really weird.
