Hello! I’m back to say hello again, who knows how long I’ll be here for! I’ve been away on another adventure and just when I thought I could finally get some kip, something else appeared, so I expect I’ll be gone again soon. I’m sad that I can’t share all these adventures with you but for now they must all remain out of the public eye. Look to le Petit Vingtième in a few months time and I’m sure you will learn what I’ve been up to!

Oh we’re so back, as they say

this has been going around my head for AGES but executive dysfunction so here it is

why tintin is basically the doctor:

- he can finally be ginger

- looking GREAT for 95

- has a (robot) dog

- nobody knows his real name

- is basically immortal

- has a dramatic catchphrase he yells out at inopportune moments

- is definitely not straight

- is either extremely gender or what gender?

- extremely neurodivergent and doesn't understand social cues and doesn't know how to shut up

- appears normal, looks generally young and innocent but is absolutely definitely NOT to be fucked with

- somehow manages to survive many of the worst predicaments ever

- has an (un)fortunate habit of getting whumped at every possible turn and somehow looking good whenever it happens to him

- generally alone except when meeting people who become friends and companions with only one becoming a permanent resident

- shit ton of trauma that affects relationships and behaviour and can come across as incredibly arrogant and offhand; looks normal and generally young but has pretty much had to fend for himself and rapidly become mature and independent ever since he was a child

- has plenty of enemies that hold grudges against him and want to kill him, with at least a couple standing out as archenemies

- has an incredibly iconic outfit often considered smart but stylish, along with far more formal outfits as well as an iconic long coat he is seen wearing on a regular basis

any others I've missed, please feel free to reblog!!! I love combining these two fandoms and I do find stuff in common with a lot, as well as finding similarities in how I relate to them besides

Was there ever a venture so dangerous it made you consider giving up the ghost? Or, at least, one which inspired you to take a long break from the reporting business?

Well, you’re definitely right - there have been one or two sticky moments! I don't think there has ever been a time where I felt like I wanted to quit reporting entirely, though!

After everything that happened when I first went to Chicago, I wanted some time off, but it wasn’t meant to be at that point, but I did get a holiday in the end with a friend in India!

I’ve had more scrapes that I worried might make the decision for me than seriously considering it myself!

Destination reached! I managed to break my watch in a tussle with a moving vehicle but Milou and I at least are safely at our destination for now. Tomorrow the real excitement begins!

what social media platforms would you use and what kind of thing would you post?

I've scouted out Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and didn't like any of them. Twitter especially I find really frustrating! It’s a good idea; it’s just a shame that it doesn’t seem to work very well in practise.

I've always rather thought I'd ‘do numbers’ on Tiktok, but the Captain is insistent that that's a terrible idea. Also, I do value my sanity, so maybe he's right.
