I am amazed by your great ability to ignore everything else mentioned. And my complaint was not that there were no white readers. In fact, if you could read, you would know that I mentioned that I don't have any problems. But apparently you are just another ignorant person who prefers to see what he wants in order to have an excuse to vent or look for problems. What about everything else I said? I didn't see that you justified the fact that many people believe that black characters are destined for other black characters, as if they don't have the choice to fall in love with someone of another ethnicity, and I didn't mention this because I felt uncomfortable reading from the perspective of a black protagonist. If not, why, wherever you see it, is it something discriminatory and ridiculous. I do not decide how the story will develop, nor will I force any author to change their way of writing them. The space to comment is free to give your opinion as long as no one is offended. And I'm sorry, but if someone was offended by what I said, they must have very little mental maturity to not be able to accept an opinion for what it is, and without seeing "negative criticism" where there are none.
I understand that you may have heard more offensive comments, but resorting to terms like "white ass" does not improve the situation; In fact, it only perpetuates division and does no one any favors.
No, I'm not used to specifically white readers. because it is not until I enter Miles Morales' tumblr fanfics that they mention ethnicity, the other fanfics that I have read are not from this community and are in Spanish on other platforms, they never mention ethnicities and they themselves say that the reader is left to interpretation of the reader, rare are the cases where it is mentioned and when it is mentioned it is because it has relevance in the story. That includes Afro writers. Well, I think I'm starting to understand something here. Before making the complaint, do your research so as not to say the wrong thing, and from what I understand, according to the history of the United States (I am not and have never lived in the United States), they have things for blacks and things for whites. Things that are very divided and marked and it is not until recently that this racial division has changed. It's right? If that is true, then the reason I see these discriminatory fanfics is, as I said in the original post, these cultural differences between Latin America and the United States.
Now about the points 1. Like I said, usually mentioning ethnicity doesn't affect the story. 2.The activities mentioned may be common in certain communities, but they are not exclusive to a particular ethnic group. A white reader can also participate in those activities and share them with Miles. 3.I repeat, literally in the first paragraph I said that the reader had the right to write according to their comfort. My concern lies in exclusion based solely on ethnicity, which is still discrimination.
Reiterating my concern: why do Afro characters always have to be with Afro people? This trend is not limited to Miles fanfics, but I have decided to complain especially in this community, since this is a creation made by the community for the community. However, stating that a white reader is not welcome is still an act of discrimination, regardless of the reasons behind it. Having said that. I will continue reading those stories because I like them, and because I don't feel uncomfortable with them placing the reader with a specific ethnicity. Meanwhile, you should better develop that ability to understand and analyze other people's comments and opinions, so you stop making a fool of yourself by responding with a justification that has nothing to do with the initial purpose of my message.

discrimination
me van a funar por esto.
(since I only know how to read English well and barely know how to write it, much of this will involve a translator)
Since ATSV came out, my fanaticism towards Miles Morales returned, which led me to read content related to this character from both universe 42 and 1610. There are many fanfics about him. But now, here is my complaint. In many of these fanfics, the writers have chosen to portray the reader as someone of African-American ethnicity, which is fine. These fanfics are still enjoyable and serve as a representation of this community. Writers have every right to choose the reader's ethnicity according to their comfort. However, lately it seems that this choice has become a requirement. It is stated that Miles looks better with someone of African-American ethnicity rather than someone of "white ass." insisting that characters of dark ethnicity can only be with people of the same ethnicity.
A common device in these fanfics is that Miles Morales from the 1610 universe cheats on the reader with Gwen Stacy. What about Margo, though? Even though she has shown chemistry with Miles, Margo is rarely (if ever, in my case) used in these stories. Isn't it strange that the African American reader always gets fooled by a white girl? This phenomenon makes me feel that we are facing discrimination. It seems like some writers believe that an African American character can only be with another African American. I remember seeing a comment from an anonymous person that said "I'm sick of seeing black people and curls", and the response was: "No, not White ass." This reaction baffled me. I want to believe that the writer responded that way because of a poorly formulated expression from the anonymous person, but the response, even with a touch of humor, reinforced the idea that writing white readers is not welcome.
I'm not sure if this has to do with cultural differences between the United States and that I am from Latin America and therefore I see these discriminatory fanfics. I also don't understand why this is more frequent in Miles Morales fanfics from universe 42 than in those from 1610. However, I want to focus on one fact: mentioning ethnicity or not does not change the essence of the story, unless it is specifically to fight racism. Reaching a point where white ethnicity is denied is discrimination pure and simple.
Since I left my complaint/opinion, I'm going to continue reading
