I've been taking a class on 3D modeling in relation to 2D concept art. This week's assignment was to create a dystopian shot including a Hangar. Mostly got inspiration from TLOU concept art, and Stray.

🕊️ Please Take a Moment to Read Nadin’s Story

My name is Nadin. I never imagined I would write something like this. I’ve always been someone who kept her worries quiet, someone who believed that even the hardest days could be endured with patience and faith. But right now, I am reaching out — not because I want to, but because I need to.

I am a wife, a mother, and one of many women in Gaza trying to survive days that feel like they have no end. There was a short time — a brief ceasefire — where we thought things might start to heal. Where the sound of war faded for just long enough to let us breathe. But that moment is gone now, and the fear has returned louder than before.

My days are filled with uncertainty, and my nights with prayer. We have lost so much. Our home was damaged, our sense of safety taken from us. But through all of this, I try to keep going. I try to hold on to what little peace I can create with my hands, my words, and my love.

I am not asking for much. Just a little help to keep our lives from falling further apart. To fix the small things — a cracked wall, a leaking roof, the pieces of daily life that help us hold on to dignity.

This campaign isn’t just about survival. It’s about holding on to what makes us human in a place that keeps trying to take that away. It’s about showing my daughter — even though I won’t mention her name here — that the world didn’t forget us.

If you’ve ever felt powerless in the face of suffering, please know that even the smallest gesture can carry great meaning. A kind word. A shared post. A quiet donation. These things remind us that we’re not alone.

I created a little comic strip inspired by an Arcane scene from season 2. In my first watch, I interpreted Sky's dialogue as referencing the fact that she is a bystander in Viktor's life, even if she tried differently, he still didn't acknowledge her as much as she desired. We didn't even see him read her notebook in season 2? I was shocked at how much attention they gave it. It seemed like it was going to symbolize their relationship, Viktor recognizing her, etc. Now I wonder if it was meant to demonstrate how devoid their bond was that he didn't even have the capacity to read and act upon her studies. Instead, they'd both rather live in an almost fantasy-like dimension where they could likely ignore all problems and focus on "healing" others. Just a thought I may be delusionally searching for more because I am sad the show ended LOL.

I started redesigning Viktor's League of Legends skin in honor of Arcane season 2 being released. I wanted something more robotic than the weird sci-fi knight armor he wears in LOL. Here are some other changes I made (besides his body): Instead of a loose cape, I gave him a hood. I removed his skirt-thing and replaced it with a worker's belt, which I thought made more sense for the Machine Herald. I also changed his mask. I didn't like the eyeholes, so I incorporated the goggles he wears briefly in the show. Lastly, I gave him a backpack so his animatronic claw could fold up and not look too lop-sided in the overall design. For reference, I heavily drew inspiration from the Adeptus Mechanicus in Warhammer and Adam Adamowicz's Fallout 3 concept art.

The accumulated waste around our area poses a serious health hazard, polluting the air and spreading diseases that have affected us all. Both our children and the elderly suffer from illnesses due to this ongoing pollution, in a situation that threatens our lives and health every day💔.

My heart longs for family gatherings, and I feel nostalgic for the moments we used to spend together. Now, we are separated between the north and the south, and we haven't seen each other for ten months😥.

I miss every corner of my room, which was my safe haven. Those corners hold my memories and reflect my peace, and I yearn to return to them🧡.

I also miss my working life, which, despite being exhausting, gave my life meaning and purpose. I miss the days of work and the effort I used to put in 💚.

And I long for the feeling of success and pride that filled me after achieving my goals in my studies and work. These memories of my accomplishments remind me of the joy of success💜.

I live every day amidst challenges, trying to stay strong despite all the difficulties. I try to be the support for my family, providing them with basic needs despite the scarcity of resources. And despite everything, I still believe that tomorrow will be better🤲🏽.

A quick drawing to commemorate season 2 of Arcane. So excited for the release. Sorry, I posted this drawing a week ago, but I did some updates and fixed the contrast since I was bothered by the original piece's rushed quality.

I tried drawing a sequence from The Magnus Archives episode #111 Family Business.

Definitely a memorable episode. I hope we learn more about Gerard, it was nice to hear a bit of comedy in the podcast. I've started season 4 and my goodness, it just gets darker and darker.

The Magnus Archives #67 - Burning Desire.

I've now finished season 2 which felt like it went by quite quickly. I am a few episodes into series 3 and it truly does just get better and better. All my favorite qualities of the podcast keep getting expanded on which is of course enjoyable. I re-listened to #67 and started to question my design of Agnes. I wanted her to have a dazed look since the whole episode goes on about how odd she is and not quite human even though she looks alluring. But then I realized she was described as tall which I totally missed the mark on, oh well.

I decided to color a few profile sketches I drew of the TMA cast. Having listened to the podcast with my mum, I was able to get her opinion on what the characters might look like. Mostly Martin since I couldn't really imagine a face that fit his voice. I might change these designs as the podcast goes on and as their characters develop more.

I am not sure how far I am through season 2. I am currently listening to #71.

While listening to the season one finale, I couldn't help but imagine drawing this interaction out, LOL.

So far, I am enjoying season two more than season one. I especially like the "supplemental statement" portion of the episodes as well as new characters being introduced.

I tried drawing Jonathan Sims from the Magnus archives. I always imagined a long narrow face and quite squinty expressions. Looking at some fan art now and I can see I'm not the only one who thought this, LOL.

I just finished the first season of The Magnus Archives. I can't believe I hadn't found this podcast sooner since Lovecraftian Horror is right up my alley.

An assignment I had required me to redraw a painting of an artist we like to learn about their style. I already recognized JC Leyendecker's style for having glossy skin but I ended up realizing that he adds lots of reflective light in his drawings to add to that glossy look.
