Hello everybody!

We are Light on a Hill Books, a small publishing company that's starting up. We plan to release our first book mid-2023, although that's not completely finalised yet.

Our aim is to provide high-quality Christian books, mostly fiction but with a smattering of non-fiction as comes. To enquire about the possibility of publishing with us, or to get more information, please send us a DM, or tag us in any posts! We operate in a variety of primarily Australian timezones, and are unpredictably online. Our fiction is intended to strengthen and encourage our Christian siblings, while not sugarcoating the realities of life. (Hence I've tagged this #salt and light because it was that tag's prevalence that spurred us to finally make a focused tumblr blog.)

We have little or no posting schedule at present, since we're hard at work behind the scenes setting up our website as well as creating graphics and branding.

I - the current main mod of this blog - have a personal blog as well as an individual author's blog (and a handful of more focused sideblogs). I will not be providing information about those at present. Where I refer to 'I' in either this post or subsequent ones, therefore, it typically refers to me personally, where 'we' refers to the company/blog/initiative.

Our profile picture will become our logo once that's finalised - it's still in the works at present. The current logo is a photograph that I took some time ago, as is the header. Both will be changed later.

Since we're still focused on setup, feedback and advice is exceedingly welcome, of any description. If you think you know my personal or author's blog, feel free to contact me through them.

We are focused on the edification and building up of Christians, and promoting Christian values. We will also be looking for contributors and/or guest posts shortly; if you think you could be interested, please contact us. Posts and books can be of any genre or style, which includes whatever is not overtly Christian as well as overtly Christian; our aim is pretty similar to the salt and light tag, really.
