Ok so the casting for ‘the deal’ was announced… let’s just say I’m not that thrilled about it. I like who they chose for Garrett and Hannah and I’m partial to Dean, but they did my boys Logan and Tucker sooo dirty. I’ve got nothing against the actors, I don’t even know them, and maybe they will embody the characters perfectly but where’s the physique du role?!

These characters are all perfectly described in the books why is it so hard to find someone that matches what has been written and is a decent actor?!

Also what happened to my girl Allie?! She’s supposed to be a blonde bombshell and the actor they chose looks like she could play Sabrina. I know they can dye her hair but it’s just not the same.

This show ought to be crazy good for me to stop complaining about the casting choices. Let’s hope it all turns out for the best.

I have just finished watching the new Ariana Grande short film, ‘Brighter days ahead’, and I absolutely loved it. It was genuinely so good that I even cried at the end. Eternal Sunshine is and always will be such a special piece of art, truly one of her best projects. ☀️

The other day my twin nieces celebrated their 3rd birthday and we had a party with the family. I was a girl on a mission because now they’re old enough to understand pretty much everything I tell them… so I decided to sit them down, show them a picture of One Direction and flat out ask them which one was their favourite: Virginia looked at the picture and then decided on Harry and I was like ‘girl same’, my other baby girl Vivianne pointed straight to Niall without a second thought and I gotta say I understand her.

I feel like a proud aunt now.

Ok so yesterday I went to the movies and watched ‘The substance’ with my best friend and after it ended it took us like 5 mins to get out of the theatre cause we were so shocked.

We just couldn’t wrap our heads around this damn movie. Maybe it was the nausea but who knows.

Anyway, a day has passed and I think I can now understand why it left me feeling so weird; at first I thought it was due to the body horror, but I’m not usually triggered by those things, therefore I kept thinking about it and eventually realised that this uncanny feeling pestering my brain comes as a result of the topics covered in the movie, since those are such deep rooted fears in women.

When it finally clicked I got kinda angry at all the shit that is constantly thrown at us, all throughout our lives, and ‘nothing new’ by Taylor Swift came to mind.

Coralie Fargeat did an impressive job at representing and sharply criticising the way society pretends to be inclusive of all women while also actively excluding them when they think they don’t have a purpose anymore.

Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley were extraordinary and they deserve all the praise they are getting for these roles.

The sound effects in this movie are so fucking good and I felt like those were the real soundtrack.

I’ll stop rambling now but I have one last thing to say: please people go to the movie theatre and let yourself be enchanted by all the different worlds brought to life inside it for there’s no experience quite like it.🦋

Just found out the Off campus series by Elle Kennedy was picked up by Amazon to be adapted into a tv show, like it might be my period hormones talking but I swear I could cry.

Now I just need two super hot mfs to play my boys Garrett and Logan.

These characters have felt like home to me for a long time and I really hope they don’t fuck this all up.

I can’t stop thinking and listening to ‘Peter’ by Taylor Swift. Piano ballads are hard for me to resist and her vocal delivery makes it all the better.

Furthermore this song is so Jess Mariano coded and my Gilmore girls loving heart can’t help but think about him while listening to it.
