LOVELINK: an otherlink subterm for when one’s link is influenced by a correspondence to their partner or attraction

a lovelink could be:

- linking an object your partner is objectum for

- linking a character that your introject/kin/link/etc partner is dating/paired with in the media

- linking a character that is dating/paired with a character you are attracted to in the media

- linking a character that your f/o is dating/paired with in the media

- linking an animal because your partner is kin/link/hearted with that animal

- linking a character that you yourself are attracted to due to being on the autospec

lovelink can refer to romantic, sexual, queerplatonic, tertiary attraction etc

I don’t have anything to share but I do wanna express my gratitude for @demystifiedstardust for this wonderful challenge !! It’s the only one I’ve ever completed in my life and it’s refreshing ! The feeling of accomplishment is very much present lol .

Although I do admit on pre-scheduling most of the posts before-hand . I wanted to answer the question as soon as I could and did it in one day ( jun 19 – about day 9 ?? ) on complete impulse . I hyper-focused for 4h straight . It was fun nonetheless :D

I just noticed the typo that I made , I can’t bring myself to fix it so that’s unfortunately going to stay . For the question ; simply being my linktype is my favorite thing , all in itself . The experience is truly something and sometimes I pause and finally comprehend how breathtaking this coping mechanism is before I continue on with whatever I was doing –

But if we’re being specific , my favorite thing about being Laios is my outlook on food . I always had a negative relationship with food but lately I’ve been making progress . When I’m Aizawa , my hair is no longer suffocating , and I no longer find it awful to have my hair in my face all the time since I care less . My favorite thing about being animallink is how freeing it is :D

Personally , my definition is pretty lax . To me linking is the term used when one subconsciously or consciously identify as something ( character , animal , concept , music , etc ) in order to cope , but I’m aware that the definition is different for everyone because each linker has a vastly unique experience , and to me that’s fascinating .

I used to be , but I was mentally affected by the constant discourse and the negativity that flooded and seeped through the tags and I felt discouraged to interact . Only now did I start interacting again , and I feel generally safer . I know that there’s a possibility that someone will spew and it’ll hurt me , but I’ve been on here for years and I’m confident that I can handle it this time around .

I have ! All of them are online since it’s currently impossible for me to meet any offline . I’m surrounded by not-so open minded people and that includes basically every place that I go . Maybe one day ?

I always dress like my linktypes lol , I’m almost always at home anyhow so why not express myself ?

I’m quite open about it !! Mostly online . I do plan to open up about it to my s/o but I’m still a bit scared for that lol .

I talked about it extensively during day 17 but all in all my linking experience has been wonderful !! I’ve interacted with so many wonderful people and I even made a blog ( blogs ? ) about it . It has improved my life drastically and I refuse to sour it .

I don’t meditate but I do engage in other activities . They’re mostly activities that I know my linktypes enjoy !! Sometimes I watch a movie they really like ( either a specific one or a genre) , or I read a book about something they’re passionate about . I do research and I remember the most interesting of details because I know that they do the same . Sometimes I let myself play games all day or I go around the house and play with my dog and bark .

I’ve talked about it during day 5 but when I’m Aizawa , I use this very specific mug . It’s porcelain and contains a black cat on it . It’s the only cup I use when I’m him , and I find it very endearing ! I’m sure there’s other items too but I’m forgetful so I don’t remember :(
