Just the hunger games books having the main characters being compared to one parent and then at the end becoming the other.

Katniss who describes herself as a hunter, a provider like her father, at the end becoming a ghost of a person like her mother due to grief.

Coriolanus who frequently mentions his mother, a kind and soft woman, who brings him comfort with her powdered compact. Who becomes his cruel and cold father as he replaces the powder in the compact with poison, who directly goes against his cousin’s wishes to be kind.

And Haymitch, who’s father is described as a rebel, who Haymitch wondered if he looked like him, who tried to refuse to let the capital use him, just like his father tried to get Sarshee to do. Who rebelled to make his death worth something, but in the end, let himself be used as propaganda and entertainment for the people he loved, just like his mother who performed for the capital to hold him one last time, who after a hard life was jaded, but still tried to ensure her children were safe, just like Haymitch did with his children Katniss and Peeta.
