Closeness

They were so close to one another. Stuck in this closet, waiting for the variant to leave. Loki had thought himself so clever at finding this hiding spot to spy on their target, and it would have been a good space to wait it out until Mobius had said he couldn’t be alone. Now, they were stuck together in this small space and Mobius was so close, so very close.

Loki was pushed back against the wall, no longer able to see anything but Mobius. The agent had taken the side with the eyehole, so now all Loki could do was try to keep still and not touch Mobius any more than he had to. He could smell sandalwood from the agent’s hair, feel his clothes scratch against his forearms even as they lay by his side plastered against the wall.

In return, Loki was sure Mobius must be able to feel his breath ghosting against his face. He could see a few loose strands of hair moving back and forth as Loki tried to keep his breathing even. It was proving difficult. Worse still were the roaming thoughts of kissing Mobius, pushing back against him and slotting his legs in between his, eliciting soft moans from him. Dammit, he needed to get himself under control.

Outside, he could hear movement but without being able to see anything, he could only imagine what the variant was doing. They seemed to be walking a lot, the creak of the floorboards changing depending on where they went. It was hardly stealthy, but then they didn’t know they were being watched. For at Mobius’ command, all the hunters had walked off and hidden themselves in alleyways to give Mobius time to spy on their target.

If the variant disappeared, could Loki steal a kiss from Mobius before they had to go back to the TVA? Should he? Dammit, his mind was circling back round to filth again. The proximity of Mobius, the warmth of him against his body, it was distracting.

Loki and Mobius get stuck in a small closet while on a mission. Things gets heated.

“No, there’s nothing to worry about tonight,” Mobius decides, leaning back on his heels to shed his shirt. Those are problems to face outside of this room, later, but not yet. Right now, it’s just them. “We’ll talk about it tomorrow, okay? Scoot up.”

A delighted spark brightens the god’s eyes as surprise overtakes concern, trusting his assurances entirely. “Really? What happened to the agent that loathes the wasteful nature of baths?”

“He enjoys the sight of his lover in one more.”

Day 2 of the @lokius-events Valentine’s Day event and it’s time for the angst. Kind of. I went as hard as I could lol.

I chose “The Replacement” for my prompt and explored the possibility that Sylvie did in fact enchant Loki. Inspired by @diamondcitydarlin’s post about it here. I’ve also been dying to work this stunning art by @discosmackdown into a fic and here it is! Check out the art here.

When his Loki finally reappears in the multiverse, Mobius has to wield the Tesseract (and get a little help from his friends, the Loki variants) if he hopes to rescue Loki from a Thanos variant’s clutches.

The Valentine's Dance

He would never love him. Loki knew that for sure. Nothing that his best friend Mobius had ever said would make him think he would see Loki as something more than a friend. They were destined to remain friends, and honestly, he was fine with that. Truly, he was. If he could keep this gem of a man beside him his whole life, friendship would be enough.

Still, standing in Mobius’ bedroom watching him step out of the shower to get dressed for the Valentine’s dance was harder to handle. He wanted to let his eyes roam all over that firm chest, the beautiful small nubs of his nipples, the smooth skin of his pecs and his gorgeous abs. It made Loki’s throat feel smaller and that his breath was stuck in his windpipe.

He couldn’t watch Mobius outright but he could make furtive glances and hope he didn’t get caught. A million excuses ran through his head but he had never needed them. Not yet at least. Hopefully, he would never need them. Mobius was clearly oblivious to his desire. Honestly, if it was the other way around and he was as straight as they came, he would want to be oblivious too. It would certainly make it less awkward.

Tonight was going to be a challenge though. If anyone asks Mobius to dance with them, Loki wasn’t sure how he would handle it. He could feel his fists clenching just thinking about it. There would be Mobius in his dashing brown suit, because gods know why it was Mobius’ favourite colour, and Loki would have to restrain himself from screaming.

Their tiny community didn’t have many people who weren’t all the same. Loki had never met anyone who was outright gay and there weren’t many people who chose to dress differently from everyone else. It was like the whole place was brainwashed into thinking and acting the same way. No one was unique or different. Well, no one but Mobius.

Loki is in love with his best friend, Mobius, who he is pretty sure he doesn't return his feelings. But at the Valentine's dance, Mobius plans to show his true feelings.

Okay so, in my defense, we're still February 12th for 16 minutes so I guess it counts. xD I made a Lokius French Masquerade AU a few weeks ago, and decided to mix it with the ongoing Valentine event hosted by @lokius-events! So I'm cheating a little here, but I guess it can fall under "couples dance"... Hope you like it! I might had some context to this in the future, if someone wants.
