Okay, but listen:

Assassin’s Creed AU of C.C. Tinsley and Ricky Goldsworth, where Ricky is a member of the Assassin Brotherhood and Tinsley is a Templar. But when Tinsley meets Ricky, and gets to know him through various encounters, he realizes ‘Maybe the Templars aren’t going about it the right way?’ 

Eventually Templars realize he’s diverging and they send someone to tie up the lose end but Ricky saves him (or alternatively he escapes the attack but he’s beat up so bad, Ricky almost sets out to assassinate the bastards who touched him). Tinsley later joins the Brotherhood, after proving himself, and he helps out the best he can.
