I wanted a visual equivalent to cacophony (bc cacophonies are not a visual thing. they just aren't. by its definition and etymology, that's not how that word works), so first I made up my own word (cacospecy), but then I realized that mixed latin and greek so I looked up "cacopsis" to see if that was already a thing.

it is. but not as a word in the dictionary. it's part of the scientific name of a fish.
