Should he of all people truly allow the sense of danger to push him away? He’d first been the one to try and push her away. He’d been the one to shout about being dangerous, to try and save her from a cult that she was actually part of, to learn that all that time spent together they had been deceiving one another. But none of that changed how he felt. He loved her. He knew this. There was no other way to try and explain the emotional connection that they shared and to attempt to do so was to ignore all they had been through. “And I was in an agency and have killed many and still you were there to try and find the good in me. We both made mistakes”, he sighed and reached up to run a hand through his hair, silently sending a curse towards the TV and the news report that had been talking about the cult. Only Rika’s name and image had been shared since it was agreed that the members should be protected and helped in private but it still made sense for Mary to get upset - even Saeran had stormed off. “You were a member but you no longer are. You helped us all Mary. I’ll love you forever - nothing can change that. Not after everything we’ve been through. You may have simply been trying to get close enough to kill me but you never did...did you? And all those things we spoke of I know it was the truth”, he sighed and reached out, gently tucking some hair behind one ear as one arm wrapped around her waist to stop her from trying to back away. He was used to these emotional outbursts but that didn’t make them any easier. He only wished that he somehow could make her see that he meant it whenever he told her that he loved her, that they had both made mistakes but that they could try and move on from those mistakes. Together. They didn’t need to be alone and that was the message that seemed near impossible to get through to her at times. “You’re my Angel”

In any other household perhaps, this bump in the night may have been seen as a bit of an overreaction, however, given the amount of enemies that this small family had - a thud in the night could be a rather dangerous signal and Saeyoung wasn’t about to take any chances. Mary was right. Java could be a bit of a jerk but he wouldn’t have made such a loud noise, surely. Unless he’d somehow managed to knock over one of the computer monitors again but Saeran had moved them away from the edge to make them harder to get to. “Stay in here”, he leaned over and gently gave both of his beloved ones a kiss to the top of their heads before he picked up the gun that laid inside the nearest drawer and carefully made his way out from the room and towards where the sound had came from, pausing for a moment as the second thud was heard. “Who’s there?”, he called out, speaking out in Arabic for the lights to turn on low enough for him to see without the light burning his tired eyes or threatening to blind him for a few moments. No doubt by now Saeran would have woken too but he’d have called out if he was the one making such a noise. Hopefully, he’d gone to get Vanderwood since the agent slept furthest from the nose of the kid's rooms. Saeyoung carefully closed his bedroom door and walked slowly around towards the children’s room, listening out for any more noises that could give away what was happening. He needed to make sure that no one had gotten inside, somehow, and that all the kids were accounted for.

Panic? Alertness? Scared?
Mary was feeling all of the following when she heard the following happen; Everything seemed perfect in that moment. Calm, peaceful as all should be.. and then suddenly.. THUD. Fear. There was the word that she should associate with, fear. The following emotion quickly struck her as she heard it take place, imminently sitting up in reaction as she turned in the direction of the door; Leading them to where they were now! All loving family members that once laid upon the bed was now in a bit of a silent panic as to what the noise she had heard, could be. It could be anything really - the boys being up when they shouldn’t be, Saeran being up … Or someone busting in.. Mary honestly hoped it wasn’t the last tone. Sure it was a less likely possibility, Mary was sure of it due to how security based the bunker was and how Saeyoung’s security seemed to almost be immediately activated; However, that didn’t mean she couldn’t rule it out as a possibility. They were still running away from the agency and all; Just because they hadn’t encountered them just yet didn’t mean they weren’t still out there. With memories of such a place, Mary let out a nervous breath as she sat up; Looking in her Husband’s general direction as she carefully lifted SaeHye into her arms as she gave her husband her most concerned look. “I swear it couldn’t..” she says, biting her lip a bit, “It couldn’t be Java wouldn’t make such a large slam, hun.” she points out. Trying to keep her voice calm as she held their daughter close, watching Seven closely despite the world so blurred. “please becareful..”

"You'll forever be mine now" (:3)
“.. Yeah, I guess I will.”
A gentle but also soft smile quickly rose upon the little raven’s features as she lightly wiped her eyes from any tears that had yet to still fall. The woman in question still very emotional over everything that just so happened to take place, as - well - who wouldn’t? They had gotten married today. Her beloved and her had finally ‘tied the knot’ as one would say. They had made the promise to forever be by each other’s side, through thick and thin; till death due them part.
So yes, of course she’d still be extremely emotional. It was their eventful day!
Mary couldn’t help but chuckle at the fact that her husband still managed to say those words so casually though, it messed with her in a way. It made her heart flutter with.. happiness, pride? It just made her feel so positive, wanted in that moment. Was that selfish to enjoy hearing words like that? Perhaps.. However, she just hoped for now that her husband didn’t mind. Mary was positive knowing in the future she’d probably hear so much more like that, seeing it was Saeyoung Choi whom she was married too. Such a tease, he’d probably use it to his advantage if he found out that she’d enjoy it. Not that she’d mind though..
Mary smiled warmly, lifting her gaze to meet Saeyoung’s for another moment to add on the day. Her’s warm and truly filled with the love and affection she shared with him. Taking Saeyoung’s hands into hers as she reached up, and gently kissed his lips for another time of that day. Just absolutely delighted by the sweet and heartwarming bliss that was in the air around them. For them.
Mary had never felt so happy in her life.,
Gently pulling back, Mary smiled chuckling softly as her cheeks seemed to continue to flush. Resting her for head against his as she smiled lovingly.
“I am proudly yours..” She replies, chuckling as she nuzzles him, “ Now forever and always..” “Your Mrs. Choi..”

Fruits Basket — Volume 3 {Sentence Starters}
@lucielchoi-707
He was acting like as if it really mattered. That bleeding would affect him later on. What lies, he was spouting out to her. Her gaze locked onto his, as she simply stared. “I’m bleeding as well, you know. We’re going to die here.”
Not that it really mattered, dying in a pit they can’t climb. She couldn’t even recall how they got here. She supposed the route glitched again. What a living hell… “Bleeding doesn’t matter, being blinded doesn’t matter, nothing matters in this twisted up world. I’ve grown to accept death, after so long of this.” This was going to be a slow process, though… but she knew, she may as well let it end here, instead of fighting for something that didn’t matter in the end.

When it came to this girl before him, his emotions were quite conflicted. He was tired of fighting against his heart though. He knew that she had fallen for his brother, that she and Saeran were now together and yet he seemed so different somehow. This Saeran was broken and seemed to almost enjoy hurting others around him. Seven really didn’t mind when that target was him but whenever it was Mary they’d end up having some type of an argument. “Maybe I just know you better than you think”, a painful smile was given as he crossed over and gently pulled the smaller girl into his arms, trying not to enjoy having her so close. Saeran was his brother. He connected them both now and yet he couldn’t see the treasure that he had. He shouldn’t be testing Mary’s love like this. He should be grateful she has been by his side even after everything to have happened in Mint Eye. At times it seemed as though that darker tone of his brother’s personality still lingered on and he wasn’t too sure on how to cope with it. Something needed to change though. He couldn’t just watch as the two people he cared most for in this world slowly tore one another apart. A hand reached up to gently run fingers through her hair and for now he closed his eyes and just pretended inside his mind that this was back then. She was his Angel. He was simply trying to comfort her. “He didn’t mean to hurt you”, or did he? He wasn’t sure anymore. The Saeran he remembered would never have done this, would never have done half the things to have occurred since Mint Eye had been burned to the ground. Seven was at a loss at times on just what to do. Everything was so different compared to the memories he had before. He didn’t have too much to go off but he could read everyone around him alot better, which helped sometimes, “...no doubt he was looking for some type of reaction...have you two been fighting lately?”. He pulled back to gaze at her, reaching down to gently wipe tears away from her eyes, a weak smile managing to form as he tried to summon up the courage to say what needed to be said. She would forever be his Angel but she hadn’t chosen him this time and he couldn’t hold that against her. All he wished for was her and Saeran to be happy but with how he was refusing treatment and how bitter he could be towards them both - it was difficult. “Let’s speak with him again. He needs to know that he doesn’t need to act like this to get our attention...that we care for and love him without all this...acting out that he does...you do still wish to be with him, right?”. Shit. Nope. That was a bad question to ask. That made guilt swell deep inside his chest and he mentally slapped himself for even daring to think such a selfish thought nevermind to ask the question to Mary herself. What was he doing? Why was he wanting to make things even more difficult? His heart still ached for her but all that mattered was her happiness and he knew, he knew that the question had slipped out because she was upset. Every tears that she cried was like a stab would to his chest. He couldn’t protect her like he could before. He needed Saeran to step up, to take his place. He just didn’t know how long that would take or how long Mary was going to last without that pillar of strength to help support her.
“Ignore that”, he laughed weakly, scratching the back of his head and somewhat hoping that there may have even been a chance that she hadn’t heard the question, “We’ll go talk with them together. MC isn’t blameless in this either...”. Though she could be rather bitter at times too. It wasn’t her fault that she’d failed at winning his heart though. His heart already belonged to another but just how was he to explain that thought without sounding crazy?

Things were going to take some time. That was understandable but now he was feeling a little bad about having had to tie her shoes and about the way in which he had introduced Vanderwood. He needed to be gentle. She was about to enter a world that had hurt her, a world that to her would be full of so much danger and it was all his fault. She was hurt because of her connection with him. How did he even begin to make this up to her? “We can take this as slowly as you need to”, he spoke softly as he held gently to her free hand, Vanderwood walking off ahead with her belongings, “I know this has to be hard for you but I promise you’ll be staying someplace that’s very safe. I’m sure you’ve heard the stories about my weird security right?”. He gave a soft smile, unsure of just how to handle this situation correctly. He didn’t want it to seem like he was walking on eggshells around her for he was certain that Jaehee would pick up on that attitude change almost straight away and feel terrible for it. She was a strong woman and she would be again. Seven would make sure of it. No matter how long it may take for them to reach that final stage. “Vanderwood is a good guard to have around too. Most people just seem to flee at his glare alone!”, a small attempt at a joke as he guided her towards the door, trying to keep her involved in some type of conversation in order to distract her mind from what was going on around her. The hospital was rather quiet for now, so that was hopefully helping to calm her nerves. Maybe. He hoped he was doing this correctly anyway. “You’ve never been to the bunker before thou - have you? It’s pretty big...lots of computers and robots”.

“ i want to sleep forever. ”
★FIVE-WORD SENTENCES.
Seven had been glued to his monitors all day, slouched in his chair with his hair more of a mess than usual. An elbow propped on his desk to allow his chin to rest in his palm as golden eyes struggled to remain open, resisting the temptation of sleep. Yoosung glanced at the other from across the room where he lay on the couch, scrolling through the messenger reading past conversations. He had chosen the spot so he could spend time with his boyfriend while being far enough to not be a distraction. Often he’d have to leave Seven to his never-ending workload and was grateful for whatever time he could spare, and learned to find satisfaction in simply being in the same room. Yoosung never asked for much, and if anything wished the hacker would take better care of himself. He was thankful to have Vanderwood’s help every now and again, appreciating how the mysterious person who claimed to work with Seven came to check on how he was doing and take it upon himself to clean the bunker. The blond wasn’t there everyday since his apartment was much closer to his university than where Seven lived, but he’d come whenever he had a free day. The time in between was filled with never-ending worry for his other half. He could only assume it had been days since the redhead had gotten any type of actual sleep.
Without raising the other’s alarm, Yoosung silently walked over to the desk and placed a gentle hand on his shoulder.
“I want to sleep forever,” Seven groaned.
Yoosung couldn’t help his smile at his boyfriend’s adorable sleepy voice. “Come on. We’re taking a nap. You’re not going to be able to get any work done like this anyway. If it makes you feel any better it will only be for an hour. I’m not taking no for an answer.” Yoosung moved his hand to place itself over Seven’s, pulling it upwards to coax him to stand. “You work too hard. Please nap with me?”

Oh he was sleepy. He sat back in his chair and gazed at the amount of research that laid across the table, eyes landing on the clock across from him. Ah. It was the next day wasn’t it? Had he fallen asleep after all then? Yawning, he dragged himself to his feet and over into the kitchen to grab himself something to drink, only to jump as he heard the thud in the background. He left the can and rushed over towards the guest room where he’d left Jaehee the night before, carefully opening the door and kneeling down by her side. She was in a much worse state than he’d first feared. It was obvious that the alcohol from the night before was still affecting her, that she’d reached the point where the abuse was beginning to attack her very body and it hurt to see her like this. “Wow there”, he gave her a gentle smile as he wrapped an arm gently around her and helped her back over towards the bed to sit on the edge, “You’re in no fit state to be up on your feet like this just yet...please be careful...”
