i love that my teacher assumed i was writing about a striaght relationship in my assignment because i never specified the gender of the narrator who was in the traditionally female role of walking down the aisle for a marriage, when in fact, it was a very gay man.

tw: mention of broken bones

my mum has such a tendency to break her bones completely unprompted, that she came home from work today after slipping on diesel in the garage and just proclaimed to the whole house that she'd broken her thumb...

it was still in pain before she went to bed... so yeah, she probably broke it... but instead of going to the hospital, she went and found her old brace from THE LAST TIME SHE BROKE THE SAME THUMB and just put it on and shrugged it off like the motherfucking badass she is

so, when I'm home for the holidays my parents usually make me coffee before bed cos it helps me sleep, but the problem is, I put that coffee on the cabinet behind my head in bed, so I physically can't see it without turning around... anyway I just got up because I was thirsty but before I could climb out of bed I remembered I had coffee that's been sat there for 30 minutes untouched....
