Like, all his other crimes get either confirmed (abused disciples), elaborated on (massacre of the Qiu household, death of Liu Qingge), or at least acknowledged (visiting brothels)

But what the hell happened with Ning Yingying?????

We know for sure that Bingge wasn't the one who came up with this accusation, because Shen Yuan genuinely believed it was true, meaning Bingge also thought it was true

What happened to make Bingge sincerely believe that SJ molested NYY??? Who accused him??? Was it Bingge?? Ning Yingying?? Was she manipulated by LBG?? Did she actually feel uncomfortable around SJ??? Was it someone else?? The who??????

This question actually drives me crazy and I don't understand why it wasn't answered in the book. It's the reason for the castration bit for the god's sake!! Shouldn't it be elaborated on??

idk how to say it i'm sure others have said it better already but svsss is just so... fandomisable. like obvs any piece of media can have a fandom, but i feel like svsss has like perfect characters to put in situations, there are built-in canon elements that make AUs incredibly easy to fit in naturally with the OG universe, there are so many different dynamics to explore, and even the most crack of crackships seems realistic bc svsss has such an anything goes vibe. like idk like the fandom is so creative and talented and obvs that's on them, but i feel like svsss also attracts fans that truly love fandom culture like its symbiotic

thinking about omega!shen qingqiu (sy) who only knows the concept of omegaverse through fanfic and severely lacks in knowledge about the details, trying to make a nest but not knowing how to.

liu qingge accidentally catches a glimpse of shen qingqiu's nest, just two blankets and some pillows, and asks about it (even though, as an alpha, he's really not supposed to). shen qingqiu, still oblivious to the social norms but feeling he's made a mistake somewhere, tries to fix the nest, but he doesn't know what he's doing, only that liu qingge doesn't like his nest, so he needs to fix it.

he tries making it to liu qingge's liking, awkwardly looking at his shidi for confirmation, but that doesn't help. when liu qingge asks whether shen qingqiu likes it, shen qingqiu seems even more lost, looking between the "nest" and liu qingge a few times before saying he doesn't know, he's always had it like this.

of course this sets off liu qingge's alpha brain, even more so when he realizes shen qingqiu doesn't even have the materials to make a nest with. it also puts shen qingqiu's "childlike behavior" into perspective, the kneading, purring, not having a firm grip on his scent. shen qingqiu probably spent his entire life pretending to be a beta, he doesn't know how to be an omega.

though it might not be socially appropriate, liu qingge has a life debt to repay, and he is intending on repaying it by any means necessary.

SVSSS AU where the characters are born with a name on each hand: one of them is your romantic soulmate, and the other is the person destined to kill you

On Shen Qingqiu's(SY) hand is Shang Qinghua and Luo Binghe. Now, he isn't surprised to have Luo Binghe because of course he is destined to be killed by him, but he is shocked that the scum villain's romantic soulmate is Shang Qinghua, another scum villain!

Shang Qinghua is also surprised that his romantic soulmate is Shen Qingqiu (his hands obviously say sqq and mbj, with him believing that mbj will one day kill him) and he does try to make some moves on Shen Qingqiu, but sqq keeps insisting that he's straight so nothing happens

Years later after Luo Binghe has declared his love for Shen Qingqiu and Shang Qinghua finally gets together and with Mobei-Jun, they realized that they got it wrong and apparently they are destined to kill each other

But after talking to Shang Qinghua, they find out that they already killed each other in their past life (indirectly), so they actually have nothing to worry about

I never feel more sympathy for Shen Yuan than I do when I’m dog sitting. I sit for this absolutely ridiculous Rottweiler- he is gigantic, his head is as big as my lap. He’s also the most needy, pathetic, jealous creature. He’s can’t stand when I pet his sister. He will bodily shove her out of the way and lean against me for pets. He will try to crawl into my lap regardless of what I’m doing even though he’s far too big. He doesn’t care about any toys or playing, literally all he wants is attention. If I stop petting him for even a second he will force my hand back onto his head with all of his strength. He also gets upset if I’m not petting his head- he tolerates being pet on the back of belly but will fuss until I rub his forehead again. It is simultaneously the cutest and most annoying thing ever. I 100% understand why everyone wants to kill Binghe with hammers. Shen Yuan has the patience of a saint.

the real reason shen yuan never told binghe about his real identity as a transmigrator or that they live in a porno is because if he did, everytime shen yuan would get "stuck" in a wall, luo binghe would say "thank you shang shishu" and shen yuan simply cannot have that happening

My favorite Svsss fanfic trope is when svsss native characters get to interact with system

For us the concepts of a system is intuitive even if you aren't familiar with this trope. But for from characters' perspective? System is so... Eldritch

Like, they have their gods, spirits, heavenly demons etc and there must be something overworldly about them. But system? System is something else

Even gods usually look like humans. System tho? It's usually described as a floating glowing blue rectangle words on it. It speaks in a weird monotonous voice with no life in it. It communicates using strange vocabulary that obviously means something but is absolutely incomprehensible. It's can change reality. I think it made Skinner demon stupid??
