Joining art fight on team CRYSTAL!!

I do friendly fires and have always done my best to revenge attack everyone who attacks me.

This turned out exactly how I hoped it would.

So I prepped my piece by spritzing it with a water bottle and then spritzing red and blue glitter watercolor I have onto it (it came in lil spray bottles). Let that dry overnight then spritzed with water again and used the wettest paint. Dark ultramarine blue, dark purple, dark turquoise and a light pink and just, let it run however it wanted.

For a final touch, loaded up my paintbrush with metallic white gold, yellow, pink and blue and just, knocked it onto another paintbrush for some splatters. The shimmery background really shines through, makes me so happy!

Watercolors and watercolor / water based markers, blended with lots of water.

This turned out so, soft and pretty.

We're on a watercolor kick. And also painting skies and clouds is just fun. A lil dreamy land- and skyscape of sorts.

I painted some mushrooms with watercolor - haven't used watercolor in a while. TRied to get some good variety in. Check the read more to see the pearlescent paint I used on them!

I'm so glad it's finally been done, been working about this in very small increments. I think my fave are the lil Oddish and the Mimikyu c:

It has been years since I created any art of these two. My favorite League ship and rarepair.

What can I say, I think sunshine / brooding grump is a great combination. But also consider: they both work in the shadows doing reconnaissance, there's absolutely a chance they could meet and get to know each other.

At this point, years ago, I messed up by painting straight onto this card without priming it first, creating a textural nightmare that could not be fixed.

Yesterday I used paint pens to just paint some strawberries on it.

It's nice to finally have found some kind of solution to make this semi-workable.

Super quick lil painting of some penguins I saw at the zoo a few weeks ago.

This did not go where I imagined it would.

But my boyfriend and I agreed it felt, ominous, so I added some fire/meteorites/falling stars to it to give it a more, world is ending vibe. I really like the vibe of it c:
