so, y'know that ask about isolation, the one that got me thinking? I was like, "heh, 4 and Puzzles are truly two sides of the same coin" as I usually do.
Both of their perfectionism stemmed from the fear of being alone, of not being enough. One was viewed as a weakness, the other was viewed as a sense of stability.
Isolation only pushed them to said perfectionism and blinded them what they had, and well, in their respective movies, they didn't exact get what they wanted for. But that same isolation doesn't just happen in their movies. It's when Little Puzzles had his dreams rejected, when 4 was trying to figure out who he was with the cosmology lore. Over and over, isolation definitely was consistent in their history, just that the movies definitely highlighted how much they were pushed past that line. To that desperation, to what outcome of their choices would be.
Left alone, their thoughts dangerously sending them into a spiral. Now, that's a recipe for disaster, and a great mind palace rambling for me. Y'know I thought it was the end of that. But then, after a few minutes went by, that one thought turned into:
oops, it's all parallels
4 and Puzzles are gonna fix this, no matter the cost. For them.

So... I watched the movie as much as my shitty internet allowed and...
I AM SO FUCKING GLAD MR. PUZZLES WASN'T KILLED!!!!
FINALLY! FINALLY MY FAVORITE VILLAIN CHARACTER DIDN'T DIE AT THE END!!!
Thanks, I'm crying...)
Yes, I understand that killing him for the creators is tantamount to depriving themselves of sales, but still!
And then I decided to listen to music and came across a slowed-reverb version of the song "Balloons" by Mandopony, which I listened to in the original ten years ago... And I cried even harder!
If you ask me, I can try to make a small comic, but for now let it be like this.)
And a version without text:

I can’t believe I didn’t say this before, but I actually need to point this out in “SMG4 Movie: Guns N’ Puzzles”
After seeing @starteas’ behind the scenes storyboard of this scene, I actually needed to talk about the scene in question
The Gas Station Scene
Now this scene is known mainly for the GunShow stuff, but I kinda wanted to go deeper into it
The representation of anxiety struggles and/or disorders was represented hugely here
As we know, Anxiety disorder is cause by genetics, childhood development issues, or traumatic experiences and given how much this man has for anxiety. I can see him being an individual with anxiety disorder. I can’t confirm or deny this, it is simply my viewpoint
As an individual who was diagnosed with anxiety disorder, the representation of Puzzles in this scene felt pretty accurate to what can happen to me if I’m in a huge rush of anxiety: Getting angry/embarrassed over small things (In Puzzles’ case, anger), the uncontrolled heavy breathing with hands gripping on your arms and your shoulders tensed up, the ability of not knowing what to say (In this case when he says “…Yes, right. Of course” which I BELIEVE is him not knowing what to say in some kind of way? I might be wrong though) and it felt representative for him feeling better after someone talks to him with any inch of kindness. It all just…drops. That’s kind of the case with me. One single kind comment could reduce my anxiety at the speed of light. I’m sorry, but the scene his arms just “fell down” kinda struck something that was like “…this feels like anxiety disorder representation”. It just felt all the more reason to empathize with him and the team did a very fantastic job displaying anxiety in this. Especially in the later part where he nearly has a panic attack and swerves off the road or in PrisonVision when he has that said anxiety/panic attack. It was very spot on and I want to thank the SMG4 team for making him an EVEN MORE empathetic character in this show with this episode (Which also includes the ending: Messing up and knowing you messed up and knowing you won’t be forgiven by said person…I’m sorry, but this character is literally the embodiment of me and I feel like many people who relate to Mr. Puzzles think the same way about themselves)
YET AGAIN! I cannot confirm or deny that Mr. Puzzles has anxiety disorder. I personally see it as a headcanon same with him being on the autism spectrum given how I can relate to him so much
