A collage comic! It doesn't look much like panels but I was thinking in terms of panels when making it and it it did a lot of funny stuff to my brain chemistry in the process! anyway it's Koby x Luffy yay

Who said they love the other first? Koby or Luffy? I can see Koby saying it quietly and Luffy going "HUH?" Or "WHAT?" Loudly, Koby waving his hands and saying it was nothing except plot twist Luffy heard him and it flustered him to hear it so he pretended he didnt hear him but he did cause they are such a mess

I LOVE THAT LOL he would and Koby would easily buy it!!!! I love a dramatic confession so much so something like that would be lots of fun aaaaaaa but if I think about it, I'd say that Koby and Luffy would say I love you to each other pretty casually in a non-romantic way whenever they would meet. Luffy especially would lay it on a lot and Koby would enjoy his heart fluttering but just think like "oh Luffy's so nice he's always so loving toward everyone thats why he's so popular". A confession or realization would come from a dumb misunderstanding I think... like Koby would maybe say to Luffy that he's like a brother to him, to express how close he feels to him, and then Luffy would get super mad abt that because it felt wrong and then they'd have to fight to death abt it and then they'd have to Talk About It. But they were definately kissing each other before any such realization hit ... they were kissing eachother in Shell Town and at Water 7 without thinking of it like a thing lovers do. These guys were the "people say they think we're DATING that's crazy" type of friends for years. These guys were giving the vibe of two 60-year old lesbians who have been technically married for 40 years but still say they're just friends, for years. They'd both be pining furosiously on and off but a little too stupid or inexperienced to understand it... Like they'd both just think that's how it feels to love a friend and some friends you just sometimes make out with because it feels really good.

Which, to be fair to them, could've been a reality too, but I think they are in Eros with each other (to bring the ancient greece of it all into it), and just let things go on because "whatevs" and such.

If one of them realized it outside of a misunderstanding, it would probably be Koby somewhere in his late teens and it would fuck him up a little. But also- my head is split into a beehive of scenarios and I'm just replying with the one I'm thinking of right now today the 8th of July 2025 like kjsddskajdhd ask me tomorrow and I'll say that Luffy proposed before confessing or that Koby planned a candle-lit dinner to tell Luffy his feelings or that they both just never dare saying anything and just Live Like That forever kjdsasdd
