Goro, I don't understand. Why are you rejecting this reality? You could have the life you ever wanted! Without being in the shadow of your father, with your mother still by your side! With my powers, I can make the perfect world for you!

He relates to Squidward each passing day thanks to idiots like Maruki pestering him. Goro could hear in his head about Joker's mocking laughter at him relating to a cartoon character that hates life itself sometimes. Going back to what Maruki had just said to him, what part of 'no' means no? Must be the god complex and being a counselor that's doing this.

Goro never even met Maruki before this semester anyways, so why is this even being brought up? Goro's sure Joker hadn't said anything either so was it the leader's teammates? Oh hell no. That wouldn't do at all. He's going to have a little CHAT with them, whether they like it or not. This whole thing is just plain wrong. Can't the fake therapist see that? Oh, that's right. He's a madman being confronted by a murderer. Of course Goro isn't going to be taken seriously. It all makes sense now.

I'm not the biggest Takuto Maruki enjoyer since I have a love/hate relationship but his hyper fixated fans really try to make him out like he did nothing wrong. I'm sorry but brainwashing a person is no way to help someone with suicide. Stop using Sumire and her grief and trauma to justify that grown ass man's actions. It's not helping your case.

Saying that being a Taxi Driver was a better punishment to happen to him instead of being locked up is just bizarre. And that it wouldn't work if he did because Ichinose in Strikers got turned away. What about Joker and Akechi, they did time despite only using their powers in the Metaverse too.

Lucky for everyone here, I don't write Takuto Maruki like he's a special snowflake. He's a flawed character and a cautionary tale in what Joker could had become if the people in his life gave up on him after tragedy had strike. Good old Doc is layered and I write everything about him, the real and the ideal ( sorry not sorry for the pun ).
