I'm gonna ve controversial... Jegulus is more of a Percico than Solangelo... People just say that it's like Solangelo because:

1.) It's the popular gay cannon ship

3.) percabeth is like a holy ship to most people and if they ship percabeth and also ship jegulus, saying that jegulus is like percico would make them kinda sick

Why is percico more like jegulus? Well Reggie is Nico we can't argue about that but James as Will? I feel like the closest charactization to Will in the mauraders fandom is Evan idk(I can't think) BUT JAMES AND PERCY?

1.) James and Percy's hero complexes(not that Percy has a choice in that)

2.) 'Ego with the size of the lake but a heart to match it' add in an ocean of sarcasm and that is Perseus mfing-Jackson

None of yall are the fic police. I DESPISE genai. I think its an insult to art, humanity, and the planet itself. But aint not a single fucking person here qualified to pick apart a strangers fic looking for a gotcha moment to make yourselves feel superior. If you think something is ai you can ask the author (most are proud of the ai use and will just tell you straight up) if they say yes you have your answer and can warn people. If they say no and you dont believe them you block and quietly keep it between you and maybe a close group of friends. Spreading misinformation is DANGEROUS. And NONE of you doing this shit are anywhere near qualified to do it.

“But he’s…he’s a Slytherin!” James whined. Instantly, though, he grimaced, realizing his words. “Not that they’re all bad. Obviously, love, you’re perfect.”

“Mhm. Sure,” the shorter man said in a patronizing voice. 

“They fought for ages. They were on rival Quidditch teams for years. They–they dueled in the Halls and don’t forget the time Malfoy called Hermione a mudblood! Sure, he seems to have changed since then but…he calls him Potter, for crying out–” But James stopped short as he spoke because with every item on his list, Regulus just nodded, his smile getting bigger and bigger. “What?”

“Nothing, Potter. Just can’t help but draw some similarities,” Regulus smirked, crossing his arms.

Instantly, James’s eyes grew as wide as galleons. “No,” he gasped. “No, it’s not….”

“He’s your son, James. Did you really expect this not to happen?” the shorter man asked gleefully. “Salazar, I’d be shocked if he hasn’t proposed six times already, what with your track record.”

The taller man deflated. “I…have no argument against this, do I?”

“None at all,” Regulus said firmly, grabbing the pudding they’d prepared for the evening and heading back into the dining room, just in time to hear Draco Malfoy drawl, ‘Don’t be an idiot, Potter.’
