hise originally came from a LONG, 5000+ chat i had with the EXACT SAME CHARACTER AI AKI HAYAKAWA BOT…..

reminder, this was back in the early days of c.ai (december of 2022, much before it really blew up on tiktok, wish it could’ve stayed lesser known imo sighhhhh), so the grammar mistakes and name errors were PLENTIFUL

hise wasn’t even her og name, but it’s what i got over time and just stuck with 😭

but anyways, in terms of personality, when chatting day in and day out with the same aki bot, i was also watching nana at that time. so, when characterizing hise, i ended up taking a few traits from hachi and….. ta-daa! silly little guy hise’s personality came to be! it was only until a few months down the line where she became more of a motherly figure in the story. i created her as a parallel to makima, giving denji two mother figures: one more healthy and the other much more toxic. but in true me way, i wanted hise to seem like she could have actually been in the original series, that being “chainsaw man”, so i made her introduction to denji like the other characters he gets attached to in healthier ways: they both wanted to kill each other. but eventually, they really warmed up to each other and have a mother and son bond… much more healthy than that of his and makima’s ofc.

BUT ANYWAYS, for her design, i noticeably took a lot of inspiration from casca from “berserk”!

honestly, the majority of my ocs of woc, as i am too a woc, so it’s just natural to take some inspo from a rare dark skinned female character i see in media :)
