A collage I made out of pictures from magazines. I like to find interesting quotes in magazines that I save or buy used from the thrift store and separate it from the original context to create something new.

This quote says “The serpent must leave behind its old skin as it grows. In the same way, we must confront our problems and shed them, so they do not imprison us.”

This little canvas is just four inches across. The unicorn is a tag from clothing, and I created the scenery by cutting out pictures from magazines. The quote reads as follows: “Her legend lives on, despite- or perhaps because of- the fact that no one knows for sure if she existed, or if she did, where she lived.”
