moment from the decardia game that i've been trying to sketch forever. still not happy with it but!! good enough. lord dorian revealed himself as the bbeg to my character reedus during a vulnerable moment, removing his curse on a whim just because he could and in a way cursing him all over again (the original curser won't be happy about this) they had had an........ encounter....... before this so it was a PRETTY CHARGED SCENE yeah dorian belongs to the lovely @mmothmanners the lyrics are from mother mother's 'love to death' which is a very reedus song

The party in Decardia uncovered the awful truth of The Red Widow Theater. A brothel that acts as a facade. The true horror is that it is the web in which unsuspecting creatures are caught in - to be fed upon by the Mistress herself in an act of worship to Lolth.

Loving the tidbits of Morgan’s Magical Misadventures, obsessed with the evil twink. Desperate to know more about him, if you have anything you can share?

Ahhhh okay, since Morgan is in an ongoing dnd game, I don't know everything about Dorian, so this write up is only from my current perspective.

Secondly, Dorian is an npc played by the wonderful dm, @mmothmanners ! She's fantastic and plays him wonderfully.

SO BASICALLY- during our adventures to find a kidnapped princess in the city of Decardia (which is trapped in a pocket dimension called the Domains of Dread, if you know Strahd, you know the Domains).

We met Dorian, the enigmatic lord of the city, very early on. In the multiple meetings we had with him, he was always sweet and polite and elegant and a bit sad. He was always nice to Morgan in a way he was not used to, leading Morgan to develop a bit of a crush haha. Dorian presented himself as someone who cared for his city but was kept ignorant and kept out of the public by his council. And he was so sad, and wanted to leave Decardia so bad and he just wanted to be friends with party :(((((

Not everyone in the party believed him, but Morgan did, because he's a birdbrain haha. Sympathized with Dorian a lot, saw him as a fellow caged bird.

Which was all well and good until we, the players, witnessed Dorian corner another pc (Reedus) rip away his curse to make him young again, revealed that he wants to collect the party into his menagrie of monsters, and then manipulated Reedus' memory so he doesn't remember.

So turns out Dorian is the Dark Lord of Decardia, turns people in the dolls/meat puppets, and is obsessed with the party and wants to trap them in Decardia with him. And only the players know this, not the characters. Evil yandere twink.

Mind, at this point, most of the party is suspicious of Dorian and have been from beginning (Archon is always right). Especially after this last session, even Morgan is getting a clue about there's something funky going on with Dorian. Alas. Dorian cornered him, asked him to be his date to the ball (Morgan said yes, very flustered) and then kissed him. So.... Morgan's a bit stuck here!
