     “Very well,” he concedes - she had a point. He had never fought against any of Lady Yueying’s machines in the field, but he had heard of their reputation. He is glad to be on this side of the conflict.    “…am I expected to learn how to operate them?”

      ☯ - “ Well, if you’re in the mood to stay inside a juggernaut that spits out fire then I can teach you how to watch things burn in front of you.” The inventor said while crossing her arms. Yue Ying’s inventions has aided most of Shu’s victories because of it’s efficiency that humans were limited off.  - ☯

     Her philosophy of machines and humans hit him hard. But he was entranced in a more reflexive way than negative. She was right. A human life cannot be replaced or restored. When one days, they die for good. And they cannot be brought back or repaired. He feels a pang of sadness at the reminder of those who died for Wu’s cause. Including those people who were really close to him. How could he ever make up for their deaths…?

     Suddenly, his emotive train of thought was stopped at the inventor’s next words. It really did ring a bell. Of course he knew who she meant. But he hasn’t seen that person in a long time. And he wondered what might have happened to her since the last time they saw each other. “Wait, I know who you mean… But that person, I’m not sure if they’re longer around. The last time I saw them things weren’t well for them. Unless… you talked to them recently?”

      ☯ - “ Oh so you know the Far Eastern Woman then?” Yue Ying held her chin when he asked if they’ve interacted recently. “ Well, I last talked to her was at least months ago. She looked well despite the work she’s been doing. If I recall she’s trying to.. restore as city. I’m not certain if they’ll come back here but given her dedication to leave ‘supplies’ or what she calls ‘dust’, to your Rations Camp every once in a while, she seems loyal to your kingdom.”

     “ Anyhow, that’s.. kind of the reason why I invent contraptions to aid the battlefield and that’s to lessen any human losses or casualties.”  - ☯

She evil just like this paperwork! His hand will fall off! He was being over dramatic about it. But still! He knows this would be death of him. Shuddered in fear. Nope. Finally got a few paperwork done. Moving fast as he can. Slowly nodding off again.

     He shook his head in confusion. Oh yes, that’s right. But still… “Oh, no, sorry… I beg your pardon. I was just surprised since, I mean, these are your inventions. And normally one wouldn’t think they’re not something to give away so easily,” he expressed. “If you’re offering them, I’ll leave it up to you whether you’ll charge us for them or if you’ll give them away for free.”

     Walking closer to the juggernaut, he ran his hand across the head. It was shiny and had a smooth texture. 

     “Amazing. How did you learn to make this…? This is indeed an innovative creation. You’re quite ahead of your time.”

      ☯ - “ I mentioned this before to a general who seemed to prefer soldiers over my machines. My machines can be rebuilt any time but humans can’t. So the same principle goes is that I can give them and make another one rather than give a human life and can’t make another one.” The logic was odd but Yue Ying wanted to convey that machines are better off used rather than cost the lives of humans that can’t be restored.

    Yue Ying felt a little proud seeing Sun Quan admire the details of her work. “ I learned it from a dear friend actually. You MIGHT know her?” She tilted her head to the side. “ I met her one day during her journey and said she came from the far west. A blonde intellect that has knowledge that are not even obtained in our time. She gave me some advice on how to construct the materials and even helped me create it. So you can say the creation of this juggernaut is a partnership as well.”  - ☯

     Did he just heard it right? Would she actually lend him her works of war? It seemed completely counterproductive effect. But if she was offering… Though he had a hunch it probably wouldn’t be for free. Why offer weapons to the enemy…? “So you would bestow Wu with the same weapons at Shu’s perusal?” he asked curiously.

     The first one she had shown him surprised him surprised him a lot. It was a huge machine with the shape of a tiger. An animal he was very fond of. But, what was it about spitting fire? Was she serious?

     “I’ve… I’ve heard rumors of tigers that could breath fire. But I had no idea your inventions had something to do with it…” he said in acknowledgement.

      ☯ - Yue Ying kept explaining the function of the juggernaut until she was interrupted by his question. She was confused for a moment and looked at him, tilting her head. “ Oh, do we not have an alliance with your kingdom anymore?” She asked and thought for a moment. “ If that’s the case, I don’t mind charging a discounted price to you if you want to use the juggernauts.”

   “ Well, if you hear that a juggernaught as invited by a extraordinary inventor, they are probably referring to me.” - ☯
