The next time you’re watching this masterful scene I want you to remember that 3D objects in the computer have no physical properties and can clip through each other without care. Which means that every stretch of skin, every forceful kiss, every tender hand placement, every single physical touch and movement has to be meticulously crafted and executed flawlessly by the animators to ensure that it looks realistic. It boggles my mind at how much work was put into every single frame of this scene and I thank the animators for their service.

lemme tell you i have never been so locked in when drawing in my LIFE. i saw a stupid twitter post, blacked out, and when i came back this was drawn on my screen

so yeah anyway headcanon that Zoey is a mouth champ she can make anyone scream. usually Mira lol

On the left, how Zoey looks at Mira while they're joking around after the aborted Golden live performance in act one. On the right, how she looks at Mystery at the joint signing. The movie goes out of its way (perhaps a little too out of its way) to impress upon the viewer that she finds Mystery attractive, but if we're going to take that at face value then I challenge you to look at these two moments side-by-side and tell me with a straight face that she isn't head-over-heels for Mira as well.

I've talked about some of Mira's expressions in this scene before but just look at these two, how they interact and how they look at each other throughout the scene. Very few scenes in the movie give us nearly as much of these two just casually interacting with each other in a relatively private context, and this is how they act when really only Rumi can see them before the stress of the movie's story starts weighing on them. Look at that chemistry. I am a Polytrix truther, don't get me wrong, but I will die on the Zoeymira hill.
