Hello! This is kind of.a strange question but how do you lie/ gaslight so well? (I m running a mystery dnd campaign for my friends and they are way too clever so gaslighting will be needed lol)

It takes a degree of improv skill but also sowing a little seed of truth in everything you're saying so if it's fact checked there's a chance you can get away with it lol

Also just saying it with your chest, no hesitation and avoiding over explanation helps too. Sometimes saying a lie, then acting disinterested or changing topic after will make it more convincing to otherwise

But obviously all that said, only use this advice for silly fun and don't be a dick
