statements like "It's wrong to masturbate about a person without their consent" and "It's wrong to do something that quietly arouses you while you are in public even if no one can see it" show that a person's understanding of morality basically involves magical thinking. like I wrote this post on the toilet. That's not the same thing as me literally shitting on you

>17 year old trans girl has article written about her mathematical contributions
>68 year old creep sexologist (redundant adjective) complains about the article not sexualising her
trans women truly are the women of women

People still tend to lump JK Rowling in with the category of ~problematic artists~ and I need everyone to understand that is not the problem with her. She is not comparable to anyone who wrote a piece of fiction you hate, or someone who made rude comments in 2015 and has since learned better.
She is far more like Elon Musk. She is a radicalized person with an extreme amount of social and financial power, and for YEARS she has been using that power to try to influence her government into hurting vulnerable people, on purpose. And she has succeeded. THAT is the problem with her, and THAT is why spending money on her books is so dangerous, not because her books aged badly.
Critiquing her work is fine, of course (I personally was never a fan so I really don’t care) but you NEED to understand that fiction is not the main issue here. And I truly think acting like she’s the same as the rest of any giant list of ~problematic creators of the week~ waters down how dangerous she is.

So fucking embarrassing that the state of supposed intersex activism on Tumblr is "you can be a cisgender tranny if you really want" and not. y'know. any actual intersex issues or anything

It is not possible to think your way out of an interpersonal conflict or ambiguous social situation. The information that you require in order to move forward dwells inside of another person, and you literally cannot figure that out yourself, no matter how good at perception, pattern matching, fawning, making up scenarios in your head, preparing, or minimizing your feelings you are.

This is hilarious because imagine if straight guys who got called faggot in high school started claiming that they understand homophobia just as well if not better than gay men because they got called faggot in high school. That using a word like “straight” to denote their privilege above gay men was erasing their experiences. That they were “all in it together” and gay men should stop being so divisive. And they regularly said this to gay men who have lost jobs because their bosses found out they were gay and experienced other elements of homophobia that doesn’t happen to straight men who got called faggot in high school.

[Putting on my robe and inquisitor hat to meticulously assemble a narrative about a queer person's views through selective cropping of their work, discarding the multiple times they have explicitly stated the opposite views] It is my solemn duty to make this community safe

every time shencomix posts now there's like 300000 reactionary transmisogynists in the replies which is ironically contributing to the "shen is an egg" theory by manifesting the average tgirl on tumblr experience in his notes

Speaking from my own experience: GCs who use the boogeyman of the "man pretending to be a woman" to deny trans women access to rape crisis services have clearly never engaged with those services.
The FIRST thing they did when I sought their help was do a background check on me and I only had phone counselling! They take safeguarding incredibly seriously. You can't just "show up" to survivor support groups, they not only do a background check on you but they require you to engage with their services for quite a long time before the option of groups even becomes available. Whilst helping you they're simultaneously vetting you, every step of the way.
All of the "what ifs" that GCs like to throw out about trans women in women's shelters, rape support services etc have been planned around by the people who run them, down to the most unlikely of eventualities. If GCs actually cared about "women's safety" they'd be honest about how these services function internally, and they're counting on you not knowing enough to realise just how full of shit they actually are.

Once you understand that trans women exist within the position of being both everything that a woman isn't allowed to be and everything that a man is forbidden from aspiring to, you understand how transmisogynistic violence works as a universal policing mechanism.

you don't "hate kids," you hate being forced into a caretaking role.
you don't "hate kids," you hate censorship passed off as family values.
you don't "hate kids," you hate the constrictiveness of the nuclear family.
you don't "hate kids," you're just not used to occupying fully age diverse spaces so you're not used to the noise or the many different kinds of needs.
you don't "hate kids," most public spaces just aren't built for kids, and so the few kids you see are always uncomfortable and distressed.
you don't "hate kids," you hate the intense social rules assigned to kids and anyone who interacts with kids.
You don't "hate kids," you hate how society reproduces its most restrictive elements and how kids are powerless to resist it.
