Roceit + au where Roman is the creativity, positive emotions, and passion and patton is morality and ego (remus gets the negative emotions)
Let's pretend I haven't been MIA for almost a year.
Characters: Janus Sanders, Roman Sanders, Mentioned Remus Sanders, Mentioned Patton Sanders
Pairing(s): Roceit
Warning(s): Self doubt, insecurity
Summary: Janus doesn't feel like he's good enough for Roman. Roman disagrees.
****
Janus tried his best to not let the other Sides get to him.
Petty insults? He let them roll off his back.
Vague threats? He barely paid them any attention.
Sometimes, though, a taunt would slip through the cracks, leading to self doubt and a little bit of hatred.
Like now.
Janus sat in a corner of the Dark Side, which had been abandoned every since Janus, Remus, and Virgil had been accepted. Chances were no one would find him there.
He needed to be alone. He couldn't let anyone know that Patton's words had got to him. Patton hadn't meant it as an insult, just a playful tease, but he'd managed to hit one of the only insecurities Janus had: his relationship with Roman.
The two sides started dating four months ago and honestly Janus couldn't be happier. Roman had made the first move, using his abilities as a Side to determine that the passion he felt from Janus wasn't hate, but love.
Despite how great things were going, Janus couldn't help but doubt himself. He was happy in the relationship, but what about Roman? What if Patton was right? What if Roman was too good for Janus, what if Roman felt he deserved better?
Completely wrapped up in his thoughts, Janus didn't notice when someone rose up in the room with him until a hand rested on his shoulder. Startled, Janus jerked his head up to see Roman standing over him, a small smile obviously covering his worry.
"Roman!" Janus scrambled to his feet. "What are you doing here?"
"Looking for you." Roman's eyebrows scrunched together. "Why are in this side of the mindscape? It's not very well-kept."
Roman was right, of course. Since the Dark Sides left, dust and cobwebs had taken over that side.
"Nothing, I was just reminiscing." The lie slipped easily off of Janus' tongue, a testament to Janus' abilities as Deceit. Roman, however, didn't look convinced and Janus silently cursed how well Roman knew him.
Roman tutted softly. "Remus came to find me. He was concerned about how upset you felt."
Right, Remus. How could Janus forget that his best friend and Roman's twin brother could feel the Sides' negative emotions?
"I'm okay, Ro. Just a bit caught up in my head."
Roman frowned. "I can tell something else is going on. You can be honest with me, Jan. I promise I won't judge."
Janus scented the air, but he couldn't taste any lies. He wilted slightly. "Patton said something earlier and I know he wasn't trying to be mean, but it really hit me and I just feel..insecure."
Sympathy overtook the worry on Roman's face. "Oh, Janus, that's nothing to feel ashamed of. Everyone feels insecure sometimes. I can tell you, though, that there's nothing you should ever feel insecure about. You are absolutely perfect." Roman paused. "Would you mind telling me what Patton said that brought this on?"
"He said you were too good for me." Silence fell over them for a few moments. Janus couldn't bring himself to look Roman in the eyes.
A moment later, Roman said, "I see." His fingers curled around Janus' chin, tilting his head up so the two were eye to eye. "I will talk to Patton about that, but you have absolutely nothing to worry about. You are perfect for me. Dating you was my decision. I think you're good enough for me and my opinion is the only one that matters."
Janus took in the certainty and the love in Roman's eyes. He detected absolutely no lies, so he nodded. "Okay."
Roman smiled. "Okay." He released Janus' chin and grabbed his hand. "Now, I think we need some cuddle time. You in?"
Janus smiled and nodded in return. "I'm in."

Prinxiety + au where roman is creativity, ego, and selfishness, and janus is deceit, denial, and passion
Motivation? Who is she, I've never heard of her.
I don't even know what this is. I'm tired, y'all.
Characters: Virgil Sanders, Janus Sanders, Roman Sanders (mentioned), C!Thomas (mentioned), Logan Sanders (mentioned), Patton Sanders (mentioned)
Pairing(s): Prinxiety
Warning(s): None, I think
Summary: Virgil wants a nap, but Janus has news.
****
Virgil barely suppressed a groan as he sank out of Thomas' living room and into the dark side of the mindscape. The Sides' resolved their last debate, sure, but it had taken forever with a lot of random interludes. All he wanted to do was sleep.
Unfortunately, that didn't seem to be in the cards for him. As soon as he arrived in his room, someone knocked on his door. Virgil sighed then called, "Come in!"
The door opened to reveal Janus.
"Hello, Virgil. What was this week's dilemma? Are Logic and Morality arguing again?"
Virgil rubbed a hand down his face. "I'm really not interested in this small talk. Do you have a reason for being here or are you just being annoying?"
Janus covered his mouth in pretend shock. "Why, Virgil, I can't believe you would say that. I can't just enjoy your company?"
Virgil glared at him.
"Fine. I have noticed some rather disturbing feelings coming from Roman."
Virgil gasped dramatically. "Wow, passion coming from Thomas' creativity? What a surprise!"
Janus looked unimpressed. "It's not passion for some pet project of his, Virgil. It's passion for you."
"What? Wait, hate is a form of passion, right? That's how it works?"
"No," Janus sighed, "that is not how it works. His passion is much more positive."
"Even if that is true, I don't particularly care. I don't return his passion."
Janus raised one eyebrow. "Hmm, I think we both know that's not quite true."
"I don't like Roman. All he does is insult me! Why would I like him?"
"The heart wants what it wants. Do what you will with this information. I just thought you should know." With that, Janus turned and left.
Virgil sighed and collapsed onto his bed. I will deal with this later, he thought before falling asleep.

Royality + Obsession!Logan
*Insert funny line here*
Characters: Roman Sanders, Patton Sanders, Remus Sanders, Obsession!Logan
Pairing(s): Royality
Warning: Death threat
Summary: Roman isn't doing well so his boyfriend and brother team up to help him.
****
Patton tentatively knocked on Roman's door. "Ro, are you okay? You've been in their a while."
No answer.
Patton sighed. This had been going on for two days. At first, Patton hadn't thought anything of it. Roman sometimes got lost in his work and needed a reminder to take a break.
But then Roman had locked his door and stopped responding to attempts to get him out.
Patton couldn't get into Roman's room, but there was someone who could. Someone who cared about Roman just as much as he did.
Remus.
Taking a few deep breaths, Patton allowed himself to sink down until he reached the Dark Side of the Mindscape.
The Dark Side's living room was empty, luckily. He wanted to find Remus and get out.
Unfortunately, that didn't seem to be in the cards for him. As Patton headed towards the rooms, Obsession emerged from the kitchen. His eyes widened slightly at seeing Patton before his expression returned to neutral. "Salutations, Patton. What brings you down here?"
"Hi, Obsession. I'm just looking for Remus. I'll be out of your hair in a jiffy."
Obsession tilted his head to the side. "What do you want with Remus?" Patton swallowed harshly. A note of protectiveness shone through in his voice, sending shivers down Patton's spine.
"Uh, there's just some stuff going on with Roman I thought Remus could help with."
Obsession nodded thoughtfully. "Yes, I have felt some very strong emotions from him. He is obsessing over something. Not my doing, of course. But it is getting a bit out of hand."
Hearing that from the other Side brought Patton's concern to a new level. "Right. Well, I better get going then." Patton walked away, his footsteps a bit more hurried than before.
The hallway had doors all along the walls, but Remus' was very obvious. He'd painted it black with green octopi tentacles all over it. A neon green R seemed to shine from the middle of the door.
Patton raised his fist to knock, but couldn't help hesitating. He and Remus didn't get along and the fact was Patton could hardly stand him.
But Patton had to do it. Roman needed him and unfortunately, he needed Remus. Putting his hesitance aside, Patton knocked.
The door creaked open, revealing the dark room beyond. Patton stepped forward cautiously. "Hello? You in here, kiddo?"
Patton moved further into the room. As soon as he passed the door, it slammed shut, leaving him in complete darkness. His breathing quickened and his blood ran cold. This had to be Remus messing with him, right?
Gathering up all his courage, Patton shouted, "Remus! This is not the time for this! Something's wrong with Roman."
Immediately, the lights turned on, revealing a bedroom that seemed too normal to belong to Remus. Yet, there Remus stood, almost nose to nose with Patton.
"What is wrong with Ro?" For once, Remus' expression was deadly serious. "What did you do? If you hurt him, I will kill you in the most painful way I can come up with. And I'm a part of creativity. I can come up with many painful ways."
"N-no! I didn't hurt him. He's locked himself in his room and I can't get him out. Obsession says he's become obsessed with something."
"I see. And did Lo-Obsession have anything to do with it?"
"He says he didn't. But that's not the point. Roman has shut down access to his room. I can't get in, but I thought maybe you could?"
Remus nodded vigorously. "Of course I can! RoRo has never been able to lock me out of his room!"
With that, Remus disappeared. Patton took a deep breath, relieved that it had gone well. He sat on Remus' bed and waited for Remus to come back...hopefully with Roman.
Remus did return, with Roman thrown over his shoulder. "Put me down, Remus! I have important work to do!"
"Fine, I'll put you down." Remus dumped Roman on the floor before crossing his arms and staring down at his brother.
Roman righted himself and glared at his brother. "I don't have time to play any of your silly games. I need to get back to work."
"Roman." Patton moved off of Remus' bed to kneel beside his boyfriend. "What has been going on with you? You've been locked in your rooms for days. I've been so worried."
Roman took one look at Patton's concerned face and wilted. "I know and I'm sorry. It's just...I've had this project that's been taking up all of my time and every time I think I've figured it out, a new problem comes up. It's just been so frustrating!"
Before Patton could respond, Remus threw himself onto Roman. "Ro-bro, you didn't need to do this alone. Everyone would have helped you figure out the problems."
"Remus is right. We don't deal with anything alone, Roman. We do this together."
Roman smiled, tears filling his eyes. "Thank you both. I don't know what I'd do without my boyfriend and my brother." He pulled Patton into the hug. "Now I think a Disney marathon is in order. You two in?"
Of course both Patton and Remus said yes.

Lomile (logan x emile) + Orange side is Perception
I'm backkkkk. Did ya miss me?
Characters: Logan Sanders, Emile Picani, Orange Side
Pairing(s): Lomile
Warnings: None I can think of
Summary: Emile thinks Logan forgot about their anniversary. Luckily, he is very wrong.
****
Logan does not have a clue what happened. It's a new experience for him, feeling lost and unsure of the next logical step. To him, nothing should be wrong.
And yet Emile left, seeming upset, after Logan had laid out the plans for their next date. All Emile said was, "I can't do this right now," before walking out. Logan is stumped.
A knock on his door startles Logan out of his thoughts. He straightens and calls, "Come in!"
Orange steps into the room. "Good morning, Logan. Is something wrong?"
Logan considers the question. "Yes, but we can discuss that later. Is there something you needed?'
Orange shrugs, moving to sit on Logan's bed. "Emile is upset about something, but he wouldn't say why. I was wondering if you knew."
"Unfortunately, I do not. I believe I may have been the cause, however." At Orange's inquisitive look, Logan continues. "I told Emile about what plans I have for our next date and he left distressed. I do not know the cause."
"Hm. That is odd. What are the plans?"
"Well, I told him we are going to have a movie marathon with a list of preselected movies. I do not understand his frustration."
"When is this date supposed to take place?"
"This Saturday."
"Ah." An understanding expression dawns on Orange's face. "You do know you anniversary is this Saturday, correct?"
"Of course. The marathon is not the true plan. I was hoping to surprise him with dinner," Logan states, as if it is obvious.
"Emile doesn't know that Logan. To him, it seems like you forgot your anniversary and are just doing a random date."
"Oh." Logan contemplates that for a moment. "I believe I know how to make this right. Will you assist me?"
_____
"I really don't feel up for this, O," Emile says, walking towards the stairs with Orange beside him. "Logan forgot our anniversary and now he's avoiding me. I do not see how a walk in Imagination is going to help."
"Trust me. A walk is just what you need to relax."
Emile swallows his protests, following Orange to the entrance to Imagination. When the two step through, Emile's jaw drops.
The usual castle that stands before the entrance to Imagination is gone, replaced by a forest filled with large evergreen trees. Several strands of fairy lights hang between the trees, lighting up the dark night. A full moon and too many stars to count shine from the sky.
In the center of it all is a lovely table filled with Emile's favorite foods. And in the front of the table is Logan.
Emile steps forward, mouthing still hanging open, just taking in the scene. "Lo, did you...did you do this?"
Logan nods. "With a little help." He gestures towards the Orange Side, who nods and leaves Imagination.
"This is amazing, Lo. I can't believe you did this." Emile moves to Logan, taking his hand.
"I know you were upset because you thought I forgot our anniversary," Logan says, "but I could never forget something this important."
Emile smiles, his eyes tearing just a bit. "I know, Lo. I love you so much."
Logan bends forward gently kiss him. "I love you too, Emile. Happy anniversary."

Losleep, Au where roman is all en-compassing and remus is Logan's brother who represents Procrastination
....I'm actually writing for once. What a surprise.
Characters: Logan Sanders, Remy Sanders, C!Thomas (mentioned). Remus Sanders (mentioned), Roman Sanders (mentioned), Virgil Sanders (mentioned).
Pairing: Losleep
Warnings: Bad self care habits, procrastination
Summary: Logan and Remus are at war in Thomas' mind, leading Logan to stress quite a bit. Remy just wants his boyfriend to sleep.
*******
I stared at the paper in front of me, barely able to read my writing through my blurry vision. Everyone else was asleep, including Sleep himself. I glanced over at my bed. Remy was curled up under the covers, his breathing deep and even. I smiled to myself before returning to my work.
The last few days had been difficult for everyone. Remus pushed Thomas to be even more lazy than usual. As a result, Thomas was very behind in his posting schedule and I have to work overtime in order to get things back on track.
The others really didn't help much, either. Roman only wanted Thomas to stay on track as long as Thomas was doing something creative. Virgil went from being anxious about procrastinating to being anxious about screwing something up. As such, I didn't have much help.
I blinked a few times to clear my vision, rubbing at my eyes. I returned my focus to my work. Time passed very quickly and before long I heard the sounds of the other Sides getting up and moving in the hallway. I yawned and stretched, glancing over at Remy. To my surprise, his eyes were open and he was looking over at me.
"Good morning," I said. "You're up early."
"So are you." Remy sat up, running a hand through his hair. "What time did you come to bed last night? I didn't feel you get into bed."
I averted my eyes briefly. "I went to sleep not long after you did. I woke at the same time I usually do." My lie wasn't well thought out so I wasn't surprised when Remy gave me a disapproving look.
"I love you, hun, but I wish you wouldn't lie to me. I can feel when people are asleep, even when I'm also sleeping. I didn't feel you at all last night. Were you still working on that new schedule?"
I sighed. "Yes. Thomas has so much responsibility now, to his fans and to his friends. He's so far behind on everything he's promised. I know his friends and fans are understanding, but at some point they have to reach their limit."
"That's a possibility. However, you really aren't accomplishing much. Remus has managed to get Thomas off track and maintain a decent sleep schedule. If you aren't at your best, you won't be able to overcome his influence on Thomas." Remy stood, walking over to me and offering me his hand. "You should sleep. A few more hours isn't going to do much difference in the long run."
Remy made several good points, but part of me didn't want to stop my work. I knew Remy wouldn't give up, though, so I said, "Alright. But just for a few hours. No one else seems to want Thomas to stay on track. I have to keep Thomas focused."
He nodded. "Okay. Sleep first." He tugged on my hand and I stood. Remy snapped his fingers. My clothes changed in something more comfortable for sleep. He led me over to the bed, laying down with me.
I felt my eyes getting heavier, unsure whether that was due to my own tiredness or Remy's influence. Remy hummed quietly, running a hand through my hair. "Do you want some help sleeping?"
I nodded with no hesitation. Sleeping with Remy's help always made me feel more rested than usual. Remy's hand stilled in my hair and I felt his power sweep through me. Warmth spread through me and, just like that, my eyes closed and I feel asleep.

Loceit Week Day 2
This one I am really excited for. @loceitweek2022
Prompt: Orange Side
Characters: Logan Sanders, Janus Sanders, Other Sides mentioned, Orange Side as Wrath, Thomas mentioned.
Pairing: Loceit (duh)
Warnings: Threats, Some violence, food, mentions of kidnapping.
Summary: The Orange Side decides to make his appearance in Logan's body. Janus is not having that and will stop at nothing to get Logan back.
__________
It was small things at first.
Janus hardly even noticed them. Logan would pull away from a kiss just a little too quickly or he'd stare blankly at one of the other Sides when an event was brought up that he seemed to not remember. It was only when a huge change in personality hit Logan that Janus realized something was wrong.
That change was jelly.
Janus and Logan were in Imagination (Roman's side of course) enjoying a picnic that Patton had put together for them. They were enjoying themselves until Logan bit into a sandwich and made a face.
"What's wrong?" It was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Surely Patton couldn't have messed that up.
Logan smoothed out his expression, giving Janus a tight smile. "Oh, it's nothing. It seems as though Patton used Crofters instead of Smuckers. Oh well." Logan took another bite, unaware of the effect his words had on Janus.
Everything that had been going on in the past week suddenly made sense. The little inconsistencies in Logan's personality all added together and Janus knew it was not good.
"What are you doing here? What do you want with Logan?" Janus stood, facing his boyfriend; the body of his boyfriend.
Logan looked up at Janus, his eyebrows furrowed. "What are you talking about, Jan? I am Logan. There's no one else here."
"You know exactly what I'm talking about, Wrath."
The moment Janus had said the function, the façade of Logan disappeared. Wrath smirked in such a vicious way, a smirk that did not belong on Logan's face and his eyes glowed orange.
"I'm surprised at you, Janny. Usually you smell a lie from a mile away. Guess you must be getting out of practice now that you're with the sunshine squad."
Janus balled up his fists. He annoyed at the insult aimed towards him, he was more bothered by the fact that Wrath had taken over Logan's body, leaving Logan trapped inside his own mind.
"Let him go, Wrath. You do not need to to take over Logan's body," Janus practically snarled the last words. At any other time, Janus would have maintained a straight face, treating Wrath as though he was less than Janus. But this time Logan was involved and Janus would be damned if he would let Wrath get away with this.
"Of course I need his body, Janny. I'm not strong enough to create my own form. Besides," the vicious grin returned, "little Logic's anger at the other Sides is so filling. It's delicious." Wrath took a deep breath, sighing when he released it. "I thought you'd like this. You don't have to pretend to be interested in Logic anymore! I mean, he is nice to look at, but the whole nerd persona is so dry. I can make this more fun."
Janus grabbed Wrath by the arms and pulled him to his feet. He slammed Wrath into a tree, being careful not to hurt Logan's body. He got right into Wrath's face.
"You do not get to decide what I like. You are not my friend and we are not on the same side anymore. Now let Logan go."
Wrath's grin still didn't fade. "Or what? You'll hiss at me?" He giggled at his own joke, looking straight into Janus' eyes.
Janus smiled coldly. "Perhaps you are not afraid of me. Fair enough. But I know who you are afraid of. Remus. Roman. Patton. Virgil. All of them have grown quite fond Logan." Janus leaned forward until he was whispering right in Wrath's ear. "Can you imagine what we'd be able to do to you in we combined our abilities? If all of us worked together towards the same goal? You would become nothing more than a figment, a whisper in Thomas' mind. So I say again. Get. Out. Of. Logan."
For the first time in this exchange, fear diminished the orange in Wrath's eyes. That was all the warning Janus got before Logan suddenly went limp as Wrath left his body.
Janus caught Logan and laid him on the ground gently. Logan's eyes blinked open, quickly finding Janus' face.
"Jan." The name was nothing more than a breath. "I'm so sorry, he caught me by surprise and I couldn't fight him."
Janus kissed Logan's forehead. "It's alright, darling. He's gone and he won't be coming back anytime soon. I promise you that."
As Janus comforted Logan, Wrath lurked in the subconscious. His fury over his plan being ruined seemed to crackle in the darkness. He had thought Janus would be on his side, but it appeared friendship meant nothing to him anymore.
If Wrath had a mouth, he would have smiled. All the Sides cared about Logan, did they? Then perhaps Logan might need to disappear entirely. His orange energy crackled again, imitating the sound of evil laughter.

Loceit Day 1
Yay, I’m so excited! Loceit Week, here we go! @loceitweek2022
Prompt: Self care
Characters: All Sides, Thomas mentioned
Warnings: Bad self care habits, exhaustion, arguing
Summary: Janus didn’t need to be responsible for everyone else’s wellbeing. Logan just needed to Janus to see that.
________________
It was exhausting.
Janus ran around all day everyday trying to get the other Sides to relax. To convince Virgil Thomas wasn’t going to die, to get Roman to slow down with his ideas, to get Logan away from his work, to keep Patton from hiding his feelings, to help Remus deal with his thoughts.
It took so much time and so much work. Janus didn’t rest and didn’t sleep. Someone was always having an issue, which meant Janus needed to fix it. It was okay because the others were more important. They kept Thomas functioning and that was what mattered, right?
That was why Janus found himself stumbling into his room late one night. He had just managed to convince Virgil to sleep and for once he thought he might actually get to sleep, too. He slipped his shoes off and was just about to slip into bed when a light came on.
He hissed and shielded his eyes. Once he’d had a chance to adjust to the light, he put his hand down and surveyed the room.
Logan was sitting on the edge of Janus’ bed. Logan being in the room wasn’t all that unusual (they were dating after all) but the fact that Logan was still awake was surprising.
“Who was it this time?” Logan asked softly. Logan hated Janus’ job. Hated that Janus was forced to give up so much in order to keep everyone else going. Hated that he had once been a part of that.
“It’s nothing, Lo. Nothing I can’t handle.” Janus was dead on his feet, swaying slightly.
“You can’t keep doing this.” Logan stood, grabbing Janus and leading him to the bed. He got Janus undressed and laid him under the covers. “You need to rest too.”
“I don’t have time.” Janus’ voice was barely above a whisper. His eyes were already slipping shut.
“Then I’ll make time.” It was the last thing Janus heard before he fell asleep.
*****
Janus woke up late. It was already lunch time. He dressed quickly and practically ran downstairs, scared of what he might find.
There was no one. A quick search of the house confirmed that everyone was in their rooms. What was going on? It was never this peaceful. Janus was usually woken up at 3 am from sort of noise.
“Jan?”
Janus turned around. There was Logan, fully dressed with a face full of concern.
“Logan. What is going on? Where is everyone? Is everything okay?” The questions were out of his mouth faster than he could think.
“Everyone is fine, Jan,” Logan said soothingly. “We had a talk. Eventually we agreed that some of their problems should be fixed on their own. You are not supposed to be everyone’s keeper. That is not your role in Thomas.”
Logan didn’t mention the arguing he had to get through to get that agreement. Roman and Patton were the most against it, their ignorance making Logan quite angry. Remus and Virgil were the easier ones to convince, given that they’d known Janus the longest.
“I....That’s not true. This is what I’m...” Janus was going to say that this was his job, but was it really? It didn’t feel right. Janus was Deceit, lies and subterfuge. He wasn’t supposed to be the only one worried about self-care.
“You see? There’s more to you than just what you can do for others.” Logan wrapped an arm around Janus’ shoulders, steering him back to his room. “Rest now. I won’t let you sleep too long.”
Janus obeyed, slipping into bed. He grabbed Logan’s arm as he turned to leave. “Stay?”
Logan smiled softly, slipping into bed beside Janus. It was there, wrapped around Logan and more relaxed than he had felt in months, that Janus fell asleep.

Lociet, Au where virgil was created as ignorance instead of anxiety
I’m back everyone! Here we go with another prompt.
Characters: Logan Sanders, Janus Sanders, Roman Sanders, Patton Sanders, Remus Sanders, Ignorance!Virgil
Pairing: Loceit
Warnings: Remus, but Remus is less weird than usual, threats of murder
Summary: Logan was curious and when he’s curious he performs experiments. Who better to be his partner in fake dating than his crush, Janus?
It was common knowledge that Virgil didn’t understand many things until they were explained to him. It wasn’t that he was dumb, it was just his part in Thomas’ mind.
However, this fact was very interesting to Logan. Logan hadn’t interacted with Virgil much, despite the fact that the two were almost polar opposites. That was how the bet was created.
Logan presented his idea to Janus. The two of them would pretend to fake date and see how long it would take the other Sides to notice. Logan was particularly interested in when Virgil would notice.
Janus listened quietly throughout Logan’ explanation. He paused a moment when Logan was done and then asked, “Why me? Why did you not do this with Roman or one of the others?”
Logan hesitated. “You are the Side that is most comfortable with lying. Patton wouldn’t want to do it and Roman and Remus would go over the top. I want this to be somewhat quiet while also appearing to be normal.” Janus nodded along and Logan kept the relief off his face. That wasn’t the real reason Logan wanted Janus as his partner, but he couldn’t exactly say that. Feelings weren’t something Logan was fond of.
Test 1
Janus and Logan started off small. Their hands would linger together a bit too long and they tended to stay in each other’s personal space. Janus was incredibly flirty (more than he normally is). Logan did his best to reciprocate, but he wasn’t very good at it. Roman was the only one to figure it out at this stage. He confronted Logan as Logan was heading to his room.
“What is going on with you and Janus?” Roman stood in front of Logan’s door, his arms crossed.
Logan didn’t see any point in beating around the bush. “Janus and I have been pretending that we are dating. I wanted to have an opportunity to see how long it would take each of you to notice, particularly Virgil. Now that you have figured it out, would you mind keeping this quiet? We have more tests to do.”
Roman agreed so Logan and Janus started their second test.
Test 2
The escalated their relationship just a little. They held hands while around the others and every once in a while Janus kissed Logan’s cheek. Logan spent the entire second test flustered, his face turning red every time Janus kissed him. This time, Remus and Patton both noticed. The conversations with the two went very similar to Roman’s, with the exception of Remus threatening to disembowel Logan if he hurt Janus. They both agreed to keep it a secret.
Before they could start the third test to see if Virgil would notice, Roman wanted to talk to Logan.
“Are you sure this is really just pretend?” Roman leaned against one of the walls in Logan’s room.
“Of course.” Logan, who was sitting at his desk, pretended to be busy with notes about the tests. He didn’t want Roman to see his face and the lie that was clearly written there.
Roman sighed. “Okay. Just be careful, will you? I don’t think Janus will care if he breaks your heart.”
Logan didn’t answer so Roman left.
Test 3
If there was a scale of how obvious relationships were, Janus and Logan turned it up to the max. Logan sat in Janus’ lap and let himself be spoon fed. They often both left group activities at the same time and were seen coming in and out of the other’s room. Multiple times, Logan wore Janus’ hat and Janus took his tie and glasses. They did everything other than outright kissing.
Still, Virgil didn’t notice. When Patton asked Virgil if he’d noticed anything going on with Janus and Logan, Virgil responded that he hadn’t. Even after Patton’s question, Virgil didn’t figure it out.
“I have an idea,” Janus told Logan. He refused to elaborate, instead going off to find Roman and set this idea up.
When Logan came downstairs for dinner, he was immediately pulled into a tight embrace. His eyes met Janus’ and there was a question in them. Janus leaned forward, giving Logan plenty of time to back out. Logan didn’t.
Their lips met and it was everything Logan thought it would be. He had to repeat it’s fake, it’s fake, it’s fake over and over in his head. When Janus pulled away, there was silence.
Then Virgil shouted, “What just happened?”
While Remus, Roman, and Patton tried to explain everything to Virgil, Janus pulled Logan away, leading the Logical Side back upstairs.
“What was that?” Logan and Janus hadn’t agreed to go that far when they had first been planning the tests. Neither one of them had brought it up, probably thinking it was too personal.
“Well, you were performing your tests and I was performing mine.” Janus smirked. “I didn’t quite buy the explanation you gave as to why you chose me so I kept a careful eye on you. Imagine my surprise when you became more and more flustered as the tests got more....personal. A talk with Roman confirmed my suspicion that you were acting out of character and so I tested my own hypothesis.” Janus stepped forward until the two were nose to nose.
“And was your hypothesis correct?” Logan didn’t dare to breathe, not wanting to do anything to break the moment.
“I don’t know. Perhaps I should test it again.” And then they were kissing, for the second time that night. This time, Logan let himself relax into it, letting his heart soar and his stomach flutter.
This time Logan pulled away. “What was your hypothesis?”
“That you liked me. There’s no need to form your own. I like you too.” They came together again, lost to the world.
End Experiment.

You should reply to this one because otherwise you hate me
Sorry I've been gone for so long. It's been an interesting few months. The person I'm responding to is one of my friends and I figured them spamming my inbox gave me an opportunity to update you guys.
I have every intention of returning to answering the writing prompts. Right now, however, I don't have a computer to write in so it might be a while. Thanks for your patience.

Analogical, envy!patton, final
Characters: Virgil Sanders, Logan Sanders, Envy!Patton, Roman Sanders
Pairing: Analogical
Warnings: None that I can think
Summary: Virgil and Envy made a bet, but now Virgil doesn’t think he’ll win. Luckily, Logan’s there to help, with a nudge from someone else.
Let me know if I need to add any warnings.
*******
Virgil stares at the screen in disbelief. He had been so close. Victory had been at hand and then been taken away from him. He could almost cry.
He is so focused on the screen that he doesn’t notice Logan walk in. “Virgil? Is something wrong?”
Virgil jumps and quickly looks at Logan. “No, nothing important anyway.”
Logan frowns. “What has happened?”
“I was playing this video game. Envy bet me that I couldn’t finish this game in two weeks. My deadline is tonight at midnight and I’m almost there! I just.... I can’t beat this final level.”
Logan sits next to Virgil, gazing at the screen curiously. “And what did you bet?”
“I bet my jacket. If I lose I have to give him my jacket. But if I win, he has to go without his glasses for a day!”
Logan raises an eyebrow. “That does not seem like a fair trade. Anyway, I would like to help you accomplish your goal. Is this a multiplayer game? And would my assistance break any rules you have with your bet?”
Virgil shakes his head. “No. Envy didn’t say I had to do it alone. The game is multiplayer, too, but I know you’re probably busy. I don’t want to bother you.”
“It isn’t a bother. Most of these games are actually very simple to beat once you know the pattern, so it should be no trouble for the two of us to complete it.”
“Uh, alright.” Still a bit confused, Virgil grabs another control and gets Logan logged is as the second player. The game reloads, revealing the final boss. “We have three lives each. If we lose those lives, it’s game over and we have to restart. Ready?”
Logan nods and Virgil clicks start.
For the next five minutes, all that can be heard is the sounds of the game and the clicking of buttons as they work together to defeat the boss. Logan gets the pattern down quickly, only losing one life in the process. Virgil goes more by instinct, jumping and dodging.
With the two of them working together, the boss is defeated, finishing up the whole game. Virgil cheers and hugs Logan.
“Thank you! I never would have been able to do it without you.”
Logan blinks rapidly, eyes wide. “O-of course, Virgil. I know how much your jacket means to you.” He clears his throat as Virgil pulls away. “However, I did very much enjoy doing this activity with you. Would you be amendable to partaking in other such activities?”
Virgil rolls his eyes. “Did you really just ask me out using nerd speak?” Before Logan can defend himself, Virgil adds, “Yes, I would like that.”
Logan breathes a sigh of relief. “Great. That’s great. “ He clears his throat again, readjusting his glasses.
Virgil grins and takes a picture of the victory screen that had come up. “I need to go find Envy, but I’ll see you later, okay?” He sinks out before Logan can respond. Logan leans back in his chair, a grin spreading across his face. That wasn’t a complete disaster. Proud of himself, he sinks back out to his own room.
*****
Envy knocks on Roman’s door and enters without waiting for an answer. Roman is sitting on his bed, writing something down. He looks up when Envy enters.
Roman gestures for Envy to close the door, and once Envy does so, Roman asks, “Well? Did it work?”
Envy nods. “Yes. Logan went in to help Virgil with the last level and then asked him out. Virgil has just informed me that he won the bet.”
Roman grins. “Excellent. It’s about time those two got together.”
“Indeed,” Envy agrees. “If you don’t mind me asking, how did you put this all together?”
“It was one of my better schemes,” Roman admits. “I got you to place a bet with Virgil. I knew that eventually Virgil would get frustrated by the game or be stumped by it. When that happened, I mentioned to Logan that Virgil was getting upset, banking on the fact that Logan would be concerned. I was correct.”
“How did you know Logan was gonna ask him out?”
Roman shrugs. “That was pure luck. I knew the two would at least be a bit closer and I hoped something would happen. I didn’t really do anything about that, I just set them up.”
“You’re a great friend. The two probably would have danced around each other for years.”
Roman nods. “I know. It was so obvious they liked each other, I just had to do something about it.”
“Well, it worked. And now I have to go without my glasses for a day.”
“It’s worth it to see those two stop pining over each other.”
Envy rolls his eyes, muttering something about Roman doing the bet next time. He doesn’t say much more, leaving just as quickly as he’d arrived.
And when he sees (blurrily) Logan and Virgil holding hands and smiling at each other later, well, he has to agree that the whole thing had been worth it.

Okay, I totally agree with this and this why people who get mad at Virgil for threatening to prohibit Logan’s breathing in DWIT confuses me. Roman had threatened both Logan and Patton with an actual weapon and no one blinked an eye. Virgil does something similar and it’s the crime of the century? I don’t mean any hate to these people, I’m just confused at the double standard.
Roman constantly declaring how much he hates everything to do with Remus side of creativity is so funny to me like bby you threatened to chop off Logan's hands and kill everyone with your sword, you aint slick either

Logince Week Day 2
Prompt: Crofters
Characters: Roman, Logan, Virgil
Pairing: Logince
Warnings: Crofters, asking people out,
Let me know if I need to add any more warnings. I had a lot of fun with this prompt. @loginceweek2022
Roman is stressed.
That’s putting it lightly, actually. He is more than stressed; he is worried, upset, distressed, pressured, and every other synonym you can think of.
Why is he stressed, you might ask? Well, it’s quite simple.
He has a crush.
Not just any crush, but a crush on the most handsome boy at Mindscape College: Logan Sanders.
Roman doesn’t know how it happened. He usually doesn’t go for the nerdy types, preferring the more drama inclined people that are more like him. But, as they saying goes, the heart wants what it wants and right now, Roman’s heart wants Logan.
The only issue is getting Logan to notice him. Logan works as a tech in the school’s theatre, which is how Roman noticed him in the first place. Since Roman is an actor and most often the lead roll in the productions, he sees a lot of Logan.
Like right now. He stares at Logan from across the stage. The nerdy boy is talking with one of his friends, a very emo looking dude with a rather cool jacket.
The conversation ends and Logan walks off. The emo boy stares after him before shrugging and turning his attention to the background he’s supposed to be painting. Roman waits a second before hurrying over to him.
“Hi, my name is Roman King and I need your help.” Okay, not his smoothest line, but he’s in a hurry here!
The emo looks up at him. “I know who you are. But let me guess, you have no clue who I am?”
“Uh, no. Sorry.”
“Right. We only have three classes together and have both been part of this theatre for three years.” Emo boy is obviously not in a good mood and it seems Roman’s making it worse. He pushes on, however.
“Look, I really need your help. Your friend, Logan? I have a huge crush on him, but I don’t know the best way to ask him out.”
The emo raises an eyebrow. “And what does that have to do with me? Asking someone out is easy, just find what they like and use that.”
“But I don’t know what he likes!” Realizing he’s getting a little loud, he lowers his voice. “Please, you’re his friend. Can’t you help me?”
Emo searches Roman’s face. Whatever he finds seems to satisfy him as he says, “Wait until after rehearsal. I have something that can help you.”
Roman nods eagerly. “Thanks!” He hurries away to continue rehearsing.
When rehearsal is over, he waits until almost everyone is gone before going back to emo. He’s digging around in his bag, looking for something when Roman walks up.
“Alright, so what do you have?”
“This.” Emo pulls out a jar of some sort of jelly, Crofters it looks like.
“A jar of jelly is supposed to help me ask him out? And why do you have that in your bag anyway?”
“This is Logan’s favorite food. He loves it. I keep a jar of it at all times just in case I need to bribe him.”
Roman snorts. “Okay, then. So I just give him this?”
“Yep. Obviously you should use your words because I don’t think he’ll understand you’re trying to ask him out if you just hand him this jar.”
Roman rolls his eyes. “Yes, thank you for that. When should I do it?”
“Now would be a good time.” Emo gestures over to where Logan is talking to some of the other techs.
“Oh. Right. Okay. Thanks for your help.”
“Any time, Princey. Good luck.”
Roman nods, takes a deep breath, and starts over to Logan. Luckily, the group has dispersed, leaving Logan fiddling with the lights by himself. Roman keeps walking until he’s right in front of him, the jar of Crofters clutched in his hand.
Logan looks up. “Hello, Roman. Is there something I can help you with?”
“Uh, yes. I wanted to...uh...” He flushes, mentally cursing himself. He is usually much better with words.
Logan raises his eyebrows, looking at Roman expectantly. Roman takes a deep breath.
“Okay, look. I’m usually not this tongue tied, but I’ve been crushing on you for a very long time so I just wanted to ask, would you like to go out with me?” He says that all in a rush, holding out the jar of Crofters as an afterthought.
Logan blinks, surprised. “I...That was not what I was expecting.”
Roman’s face falls. Logan doesn’t sound at all interested in the idea of dating him.
“However, “ Logan continues, “I would not be against to attempting a date or two.”
Roman lights up, a grin spreading. “Really? That would be amazing.”
Logan smiles, finally taking the Crofters from Roman. “Text me the time and place.” He starts to walk away.
“Wait, I don’t have your number!”
“Get it from Virgil, since you two are such great friends already.” Logan gestures and Roman turns to look, seeing emo standing there grinning. He looks back to Logan, who winks and then disappears out the door.
Roman looks back at Virgil. “I think I’m in love.”

Logince Week Day 1
Prompt: Proposal
Characters: Logan, Roman, Patton (kinda)
Pairing: Logince (duh)
Warnings: Sword fighting
I did this in twenty minutes just to have written something. Also, I got this idea from somewhere online so thanks for that! @loginceweek2022

Two years ago
“I’m gonna marry you one day,” Roman enters Logan’s dorm room and announces loudly.
Logan, very much surprised and caught off guard, says the first thing he can think of. “You’ll have to fight for my honor first.”
Almost immediately, he wants to take it back, but Roman is smiling and nodding. “Okay!”
“W-what? No, Roman, I wasn’t-” But the damage is done. Roman leaves the room just as quickly as he came, leaving Logan blinking after him.
Now
Logan glances around nervously as he enters the theatre. Roman had texted him, asking if Logan could meet him there. So, here Logan is, confused and a bit annoyed at Roman’s mysteriousness.
“Roman?” He calls to the theatre. “I’m here, Roman!”
For a moment, nothing happens. Then, the lights dim and the curtain rises. The spotlight turns on to reveal two people standing on the stage, one of them Roman and the other Logan’s brother, Patton. Both are holding fake swords.
“What’s going on?” Logan takes a few cautious steps toward the stage. Neither of them answer, staring at each other. All at once, they raise their swords and start to duel.
Logan’s mouth drops open as the two move around the stage. Roman is obviously the superior fighter, having plenty of practice, but Patton is holding his own. The fight is obviously not staged, as the movements are unprecise and sloppy.
The fight continues for a few minutes and Logan can do nothing but watch. It seems the fight could go on forever, until Patton stumbles and Roman takes the opportunity to knock the sword out of his hand. Roman holds the sword to Patton’s throat until Patton puts his hands up.
Roman tosses away the sword and the lights return to normal. He jogs down the steps to meet Logan, face red and breathing hard, but grinning.
“What was that?” Logan demands to know.
“I told you that one day I would win your honor in order to marry you.” Roman kneels down, pulling a box out of his pocket. “Today is that day. Logan Sanders, will you marry me?”
Logan blinks, staring at Roman in surprise. Once again, the only thing he can think of is a sarcastic response. “Did you really fight my brother just to marry me?”
Roman looks offended. “I was gonna fight your whole family, but Patton said that’d be too over the top. So? What do you say?”
Logan sighs. Roman is an idiot, he’s overdramatic, and he constantly gets on Logan’s nerves. Logan wouldn’t have him any other way. “Yes I will marry you.”

Sander Sides Skirts
The thing I love the most about the skirt looks for the Sides is the obvious confidence gain we can see from Thomas. There is a huge difference between this:
Tumblr media
And this:
Tumblr media
Like in the videos, we see the photos and videos get more and more professional looking as time goes on and we can see how much more confident Thomas looks in the skirts. It’s a wonderful thing to watch and probably my favorite thing about the whole skirt idea. Thank you Thomas, for going out of your comfort zone and giving us these pictures that everyone loves.

Supernatural AU
This is based very loosely on the TV show Supernatural. It only uses the types of creatures shown in the show, it doesn’t follow the plot or the characters.
This is going to have murder, blood, and injuries in it. If you are uncomfortable with any of that, please don’t read any further. I also accidently did the list from oldest to youngest. Only Virgil and Janus have set ages because the others are too old to care.
Patton
Angel
The biological father of Virgil, though he doesn’t know it
Met Remus and Roman first
Didn’t really fit with the other angels; he’s too kind
Decided to leave Heaven to form a home for Supernatural creatures on the run from hunters
Took the job of the body hosting him
Veterinarian
Roman
Demon
Biological brother of Remus
Sold his soul in order to save his mother
Met Logan first, a very long time ago
Doesn’t kill people for sport, only if absolutely necessary
Both Roman and Remus possessed the bodies of twins so they look alike
Joins Patton’s house when a group of hunters injuries Remus
Remus
Also a demon
Bio brother of Roman
Sold his soul to be with Roman
Met Logan with Roman
The twins almost never separate
Sometimes kills for fun, usually bad people
Looks like Roman
Gets injured by hunters so Roman takes him to this safehouse for creatures that the two had heard about
Logan
Witch
No relation to anyone
Met Roman and Remus first
Immortal because of his powers
Also a scientist
Generally stays away from other witches and supernatural creatures
Joins Patton’s house when hunters try to kill him
Janus
Shapeshifter
Adoptive father of Virgil
Met Virgil first
Kinda immortal because he can always shapeshift
 32 years old at start
Joins Patton’s house when Virgil can’t control his abilities and needs an angel to help him
Virgil
Nephilim, half angel, half human
Bio son of Patton, adopted son of Janus
Finds out he’s Patton’s son through a connection that forms when they touch
Meets Janus first
Lived on the streets until Janus found him and took him in
Knows nothing about his family
Joins Patton’s house when his abilities get too hard to control
Things to know:
Demons possess people and don’t need permission to do so
Angels possess people, but need permission to be let in
Some demons have Demon Blades, which can kill demons and some other creatures
Angels have Angel Blades, which kill angels, demons, and most supernatural creatures
When Nephilim are born to human mothers, the mothers don’t survive
When shapeshifters shift, they shed the skin of whatever person they’d been copying
Hunters usually kill without considering whether or not the supernatural creature is bad. Everything is black and white (Note that I said usually)
I think that’s everything. If you want to add something or you think of something else people should know, reblog this or send an ask and I’ll add it (with credit if you want it). Also, I plan to add Emile and Remy as occasional characters.

Logicality, Anger!Roman, "I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A HERO, NOT A VILLAIN"
I’m tired. It’s one am.
Characters: c!Thomas Sanders, Patton Sanders, Logan Sanders, Virgil Sanders, Anger!Roman Sanders, implied other Dark Sides
Pairings: Logicality, sorta mentioned Prinxiety
Warnings: Mentions of forcing yourself to date someone, mentions of anger, some shouting, mentions of repression, mentions of other dark sides, dating, cuddling mentions
Summary: Thomas gets introduced to another new Side during a video; Anger, a former Light Side that obviously has a chip on his shoulder
******
Another day, another Sanders Sides episode.
Patton dresses in his usual outfit, whistling as he goes. He doesn’t have to worry about waking Logan, as the Logical Side has already been up for hours and is currently downstairs, leaving Patton alone in their shared room.
As he starts to leave the room, he feels the familiar tug of Thomas calling them to an episode. Right on time! Patton lets himself be pulled out of the Mindscape and into the real world.
Patton is the last to arrive. Logan is already standing there, with not a hair out of place. Virgil is sorta slumped in his corner, watching Thomas through the curtain of hair that seems to always cover his eyes.
“Hiya, kiddos!” Patton says, just as cheerful as always. “How’s it goin’?”
“Well, I have an issue I wanted to discuss with you all,” Thomas says.
“Yes,” Logan says, looking confused. “That is usually why you summon us to these little meetings.”
“Right. So, I’ve been having some issues with anger. At first, it was small stuff. Just overreactions that could be brushed off as me having a bad day, but yesterday I got really mad at Joan for no reason and I don’t know what to do.”
He looks at the group, obviously anxious. That isn’t that surprising, considering Virgil is currently biting his nails to the quick.
“There could be several factors at play here, Thomas,” Logan begins. “Things like too little sleep, stress, and even-”
A quick, cold laugh interrupts him. “Oh, Logan, you know it’s none of that.”
Patton whips around to look at where the voice is coming from. Standing there, in between Virgil and Patton and in front of Thomas’ TV, is Roman, a Side Patton used to call a friend.
“Who is that?” Thomas backs up a few steps, alarmed by the new arrival.
“This is the Prince, your Anger,” Logan says, glaring at Roman.
“My anger? What does that even mean?”
“It means that every time you’ve been irritated or annoyed or angry at your friends and situations you were in, he has been the cause.” Virgil gestures to Roman, clearly angry at him, which is kind of ironic.
“Aw, love you too, Virge,” Roman says teasingly. “He is right, though, Thomas.”
“Okay, so he’s my anger. Got it. Why am I just now learning about him?”
Patton decides it’s his turn to speak. “Well, you kinda split your Sides into two; the ones you were okay with knowing about and the ones you repressed. Anger is one of the Sides you repressed.”
“One of them? So there are others?”
“Of course, Thomas. You didn’t seriously think there was nothing bad about yourself? There are all kinds of mean and nasty things you hid away.”
Thomas stares at him, obviously at a loss for words.
“Do not take what he says too harshly,” Logan intervenes. “While you do have some dark parts to yourself, as everyone does, you have chosen not to listen to those parts. Of course, that also brings into consideration what makes a part of you bad, but that’s a lesson for another day.”
“Logan’s right. You’ve chosen to not let them have a say or an influence over your daily life. As long as you do that, you’ll be fine.” Virgil seems to be trying to convince himself as much as Thomas.
Thomas buys it. “You’re right.” He faces Roman head on. “You don’t have any influence here. I will not let you override my Logic and my Morality. That is enough.”
Roman’s face contorts into a snarl and he glares at both Logan and Patton. “This is all your fault, you know. I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A HERO, NOT A VILLIAN!” With that, he sinks out dramatically.
Thomas sighs, clearly relieved, but also curious about Roman’s parting remark. “What was that all about?”
It’s Logan who answers. “Anger wasn’t always Anger. He used to go by a different name, Justice. He made sure that everything that happened to you, and everything you did to others, was fair. That started to change one day, when Virgil started hanging around more and Patton and I started dating.”
Thomas doesn’t react to the new that Logan and Patton are dating. Although the two hadn’t explicitly told him and hadn’t been obvious about it, Thomas had still know something was going on.
“Once he found out Patton and Logan were together, he wanted to get with me. Said it would only be fair.” Virgil snorts, clearly disgusted. “I didn’t like him like that and he didn’t like me like that, but he needed everything to be fair. So when I told him no, I think it pushed him over the edge.”
Thomas’ mouth opens and closes, doing a remarkable impression of a goldfish. “So...Anger used to be good, but turned dark because the person he wanted to date didn’t want to date him? And neither of you had feelings for each other?”
The three Sides nod and Thomas runs a hand through his hair. “Okay. Okay.” He looks at them apologetically. “We’re gonna have to edit that out, I don’t want the viewers to know you’re dating.” Patton and Logan both nod.
“We’ve given you a lot to think about,” Logan says. “You should rest and get your mind off things. It will be beneficial to your health.”
Thomas agrees and, feeling his presence is no longer needed, sinks out. Patton follows soon after, wanting nothing more than to cuddle his boyfriend and sleep for a week.
Virgil starts to follow them both when Thomas calls him back. “Virge...you know I don’t blame you at all for this? If dating Roman was something you really didn’t want, I’m happy you refused him.”
Virgil gives him a small smile. “I know, Thomas. And I would have refused him even if it had made you hate me. I wouldn’t put myself through that.”
Thomas keeps himself from grinning. He knows that a year ago, Virgil wouldn’t have done that, but he’s proud of the growth his anxious Side has gone through.
“Right. You should rest, it’s been a trying day. See ya.” Without further ado, Virgil sinks out.
Thomas takes his Sides’ advice and orders pizza, sitting down to enjoy it while watching Disney movies. He doesn’t say anything when the three show up halfway through the second movie or when they eat all the pizza. They all deserve it.
