We went out the other day to go to a local plus size shop to see if they would take any clothes we don't wear anymore and to go to something called the Lavender Closet Project which gives away free clothes to trans, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming people. It was really nice. We got some new clothes that actually fit and a very oversized pink hoodie which is now our go to dysphoria hoodie. It's very nice to have clothes that fit properly.

We had to stop at a store to pick some stuff up and we saw the halloween stuff and almost eloped for it but wifey grabbed the back of our shirt. 😅

We're thinking on one of hubby's next checks we're going to see about getting a safety harness so we can't elope. Because it happens without us meaning to. We get super excited or overwhelmed and our body just runs off. Or if we are overwhelmed and tired we end up wandering without realising it and we have lost track of our caregivers and panicked before. Oof.

We have a friend who is also working on a harness for us, but we know we are going to have to wash them so having two will help a lot. The one our friend is working on will also have attachment points for our talker so we can wear it. (the other won't unless we end up modifying it.)

We've been thinking about getting a safety harness for a long time because of the eloping and almost walking into traffic. But we weren't in the place to do it. Now we are.

Kiku very hyperfocused on Bluey. *happy flaps* Dougie and Bingo are Kiku's favorite characters. 😋 Kiku wants a plushie of Dougie but there aren't any. He isn't even included in the toy set from the episode he is in which is very rude.

This blog is pro endo and anti syscourse. If you don't like that you can leave. We don't gatekeep or fakeclaim here. But We also don't generally post syscourse because it stresses us out. Its not up to us or anyone else to determine what systems are valid which is why we are pro endogenic systems.

We have DID, and our system is from trauma but different people have different experiences.

Working on a Bluey folder!! Really like being able to have browser as a slide over so can save images and text and then add to pages. 😋

This is a reminder for those who handmake Christmas presents that now is not too early to start. It may in fact be a good time to start if you have a lot to make/your craft takes a long time. You should maybe start it now, whether that's brainstorming or actually doing the crafts!

I just had this question in my head since I first followed your blog, what's your occupation?

Don't have one. Kiku can't really work so no occupation. Can't stand for long, can't consistantly lift fifty pounds, can't talk. Deafblind. Even if found job could do the company would be unlikely to hire Kiku because multiple disabilities and the accommodation would have to provide.

*flops* wish wheelchairs not so complicated. Need wheelchair. Walker and crutches help, but only do so much. But not know exactly what need from a wheelchair. Frustrating 😭😭😭 Don't have insurance, don't have a doctor, and honestly going through insurance sounds like a complete nightmare. Haven't been able to find a second hand chair that isn't basically full price or isn't the right size. Just want to know what need so could order it self and pay with payment plan. *flops* but not know enough. Don't know exactly what need. Just know some of what need.

Walker and crutches help a lot but still in pain after go do something. Made realise just how much was suffering before had them. So frustrated.

My favourite harmless prank I've heard of was done by this girl whose dad was a geologist, and they'd go on day hikes with his geologist friends/co-workers and when she got bored on them she'd habitually pick up a random rock and go ask him what it is, and one of them would explain what kind of a rock that is, how it probably got here, and usually some notions of the more unusual features the rock had, if any.

And she had a friend who had once gone on a tourist trip to Iceland and brought back a volcanic rock. So she borrowed the rock and took it with her on the hike, and after two randomly picked up "hey dad what rock is this", she presented the volcanic rock, in the same fashion as all the others.

3 minutes later there are five middle-aged and older men circled around this mysterious rock, all agreeing on what it is, but not why it is. They keep asking her questions, where did she find it? Were there any other rocks around there that looked like it? Was it like this on the ground? People walking past the group try to stretch their necks to see over the geologists' shoulders to see what's the source of such amazement.

And in the end she couldn't take it anymore, burst into laughter and confessed. The geologists agree that it was pretty clever.

Kiku wish more people on intsagram did image descriptions, especially for posts with a lot of text in images. 🙃 can't count how many posts can't read because text on images not big enough and not image described. And lot of time if ask someone do image descriptions they come up with worst excuses not too ("oh the text limit is so short" put in comments, add alt text. Content is pointless if people can't engage with it. Ugh... Frustrating.
