I’m probably the only one but,

Do you ever just feel impossibly invisible. I for one don’t talk a lot which contributes to this, but sometimes I get this urge and my brain is screaming for me to make a sound. A yell, a scream, or something like that, but I swallow it and stuff it down into my gut and then I can’t breath and my lungs aren’t “working” well they are working but I can’t feel it and even though my lungs are so full of air it feels like they are screaming for more. No, just me?

What is the real raw advice for someone wanting to pursue a career at NASA?

Idk if anyone has pointed this out already but,

Has anyone stopped to consider how uncomfortable Steve must have felt returning to the 40s in Endgame? (I personally don’t agree with the decision Marvel made with the whole staying in the 40s to be with Peggy) Everyone says ‘why did he leave bucky’ ‘with him till the end of the line huh?’ But imagine something like this, Steve is at a party and someone says something funny and he thinks about how great it will be to tell Bucky but then remembers that Bucky isn’t with him anymore. Imagine how lonely he must have been without his friends he had made in the future. Imagine how many nights he laid awake wondering if he made the right decision.

Now for a moment think about this, when we first see Steve in the 1st Avengers movie he is Mr. Saint good boy, right? And we hear the famous line ‘language’ from him in AoU. Now we flip farward to Endgame where they are in the past and Steve fighting his past self says “That is America’s *ss” we went from him being sworn off cursing to this line. When he goes back to the 40s imagine him cursing like that or using it with a bit of sarcasm, imagine everyone else’s reactions. “Did you hear about Steven Rogers? He used to be such a gentleman.” “I heard him cursing like a sailor at Ruth’s evening party the other night, it was atrocious!” And of course these accusations and whispers would soon be heard by both Peggy and Steve.

Another thing to keep in mind is how comfortable Steve must have gotten in the future. He took time to get to know modern culture hence the little notebook he carried in WS. Imagine how many things from pop culture he will miss or things he might reference and nobody else gets the joke or understands that reference because it doesn’t even exist yet.

And finally I bring up the point of how much the future must have changed Steve. Throughout the series Steve seemed to get a bit darker (edgier) and darker(edgier). What if one night Peggy and Steve are laying in bed and she turns over looking into his blue eyes and says “You’ve changed. You have changed since you came back to me Steven” and he doesn’t say anything because it’s true and let’s be honest he might not be able to go back to the “old Steve” after what he had seen. Listen I love Peggy and Steve but, just imagine what Steve must have gone through when he went back.

One time during dnd

Ok so this wasn’t during my game but on a 12 hour charter bus ride. A group of teenagers next to me played for basically the entire ride these are some of the events that went on.

* They all did yoga before heading out on their quest.

* They tried to find this guy who would help them on their quest and found themselves at an inn. They asked the innkeeper about his whereabouts and responded with the most superficial fake reason. 2 teiflings from the group proceeded to tell him they were his long lost children, he bought it.

* They accidentally created a blood contract to help get a politician removed from his campaign in exchange for gold. Then proceeded to try to find a way out of the blood contract.

* I fell asleep but was woken up 1 1/2 hours later by then all screaming. One of them took critical hits and died.

* One of them decided to go into a rage for no reason.

* They all rolled 20s like 5-10 times in a row.

* They found ivory moneys that kept multiplying and they couldn’t destroy them.

* They kidnapped a guy so that he would tell them where a treasure that was buried in a field was. They forgot about of him left him in a truck bed and forgot about him for two weeks. They found his rotting corpse later and felt bad so they buried him.

* One of the half elves called the dms butt flat as a plank. (The dm is a dude)

Some things that gave/give me butterflies

Very seriotypical but my first dance with a boy.

When someone calls me their friend or best friend whether it be the 1st or 1000th time

Looking up at the stars

When the bass drops in a song and you can feel it in your bones

Someone calling me smart

Getting lost in a good book

Looking at pictures of far away places and realizing that I would rather see it in person

That moment when you snap the picture at the perfect angle.

Telling someone that you love them (romantically or not)

Trying to flirt

Holding someone’s hand for more than five seconds (not even in a romantic way just literally holding hands in general.)

One time during DnD

My party was fighting all these baddies, well after we had finished one of the enemies ran into an alley and coward in fear. We chased him down and it turned out he was just a very young elf who had no idea what he was doing. The conversation went like this

DM: So it seems he is still afraid of you guys.

Me: Is I he cute?

DM: What do you mean?

Me: I said it he cute.

Dm: *sigh* roll for perception check I guess.

Me getting a 20 on the check: so is he cute?

DM who is ready for death: yes I guess you can say he is cute.

Me: awe sweet can we keep him.

DM: W-what NO you can’t keep him he’s a npc.

Friend 1: I vote let’s keep him

Friend 2: me too.

Me looking at the dm: I think we are going to keep him now.

One time during DnD

So my party was investigating all these burnt houses in this village and the DM lead me to this blacksmith shop for clues.

My character tried desperately to get the blacksmiths attention but he was busy and the shop was loud for some reason.

I rolled to walk over and tap his shoulder but when I rolled I got a 3. So basically I tripped over air and slammed my face against the floor, but on the bright side it did get his attention.
