Ravin' Ramune

A small bit of gift art I did for Proto Ramune.

Not much too this. I was having a conversation with Ramune on Discord, and I made a drawing of his protogen character striking a cool pose with his signature glow sticks. I actually did this drawing twice as the first version didn't come out to my liking.

This one proved a bit challenging as I tried to create some kind of glow effect for the glow sticks. I wouldn't say what I did here is perfect by any means. But future practice will only make perfect.

Sketch meets Galileo

A small bit of gift art for @malamiteltd. My depiction of a scene from The Utopian Legend that takes place early on in the story. During the point where Sketch Tucker first meets Galileo DeSoto. At a certain point, I could see a an awkward question being brought up during their first conversation.

"Tell me, Sketch… Are blue dogs common here in America?" To which Sketch would just awkwardly look down at his arm and answer "Heh… well…"

For those that are familiar with the characters from The Utopian Legend. Sketch will look just a bit different here than he usually does. Given that this takes place early on in the story, he would be a bit younger looking. So there is no tuft of hair sticking out of his shirt collar and his eyebrows look a bit less bushy.

Dravite Rides Yoshi

It's @treevis121's birthday today. And that means it's time for Dravite the Teijru to get a chance to ride a Yoshi.

I know Travis is a huge Yoshi fan, and I've been wanting to try my hand at drawing Yoshi for a long time now. Since Yoshi is a character that is made up of some very simplistic shapes. That said, I think my first attempt at drawing Yoshi came out looking OK. Hopefully I'll be able to make a better one in the future.

And atop the Yoshi we have Dravite the Teijru. Originally created by Travis back in 2016, and has since become a part of The Last Soldier universe by @malamiteltd

Travis, I hope you have a great birthday this year.

Maria's New Outfit

"It's almost June. Might as well try some new clothes for the summer."

I've really been liking the drawing I did last year of Maria wearing the BIG PANT + Bikini that I wanted to explore this outfit on her again. In this case, I went with a crop top instead of a bikini, as I felt the option to be a bit more moderate in tone. I don't know I'm going to make it a permanent change to her. But possibly an alternate outfit for certain occasions. It's certainly not something I'd say is suited for winter weather.

Let me just say that trying to draw interlocking fingers is not fun. XD

Bean Soup

"Too early. Need coffee."

Oh dear, it appears we've caught Collin right as he's gotten out of bed. Poor guy hasn't had his morning cup 'o joe yet, and he's looking a bit disheveled and underdressed.

Not sure what inspired me to do this. I've been feeling a little worn out from work recently, and I suppose this is my way of trying to express that feeling. Plus, it gives me a chance to kind of explore different outfit options for Collin. Even if this one has him a bit underdressed.

I tried to get a bit experimental with this by drawing the corner of a kitchen, and adding a coffee maker. Needless to say, this took a bit of time and effort to put together. But I think the end result isn't too bad. It might be worth exploring a potential layout for Collin and Milo's house at some point.

It's Roocan!

A birthday gift for Bru Badger

Check out Roocan! Looking very sharp in his new outfit. For years he's been drawn wearing simply just a pair of green overalls. Now he sports a better fitting set of overalls, a white t-shirt, and a pair of brown boots. And I've gotta say, I like the new outfit. Just a shame I haven't had an opportunity to draw it until now.

In any case, I hope that Bru has a good birthday this year, and can enjoy my little drawing.

Technicolor Chicken Day

"The Technicolor Chicken strikes again!"

A bit of a running gag with Bits the... "rabbit?". He doesn't exactly understand the concept of what an Easter Egg is. He's under the impression that it must be laid by a a creature known as the technicolor chicken. He's been on the hunt for this elusive creature. But so far has had little to no luck finding it.

Just a little something fun I wanted to draw for Easter today. Happy Easter, everybody!

Kafei Eating a Cookie

My art assignment for @parlareart's Art Club on Friday. The assignment was to draw something that I'm not usually comfortable with. In this case a more human-like character.

Going back to 2010, I found a picture that Cyd requested I do back in 2010 of Kafei from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, eating a cookie. And yeah, that drawing is just absolutely atrocious looking to me nowadays. So, I thought this would be a great experiment to try again.

I unfortunately only had time to do a flat color. But I can't argue that even with a drawing that I tried to finish on a time limit, that this turned out a lot better than the original.

Studio Ghibli Collin LiBee

As much as I'm not a fan of AI image generators, I've been seeing these images floating around social media as of late that take real life images and convert them to the Studio Ghibli art style. And it got me curious as to what Collin LiBee would look like in that style.

So, I took a drawing of Collin that I did back in 2023 and had the image generator recreate it int he Studio Ghibli art style. Overall, I think it's pretty good. It's amazing what these things can do given a few simple prompts.

In any case, April Fools everybody! I hope you enjoy a drawing I actually did on my own!

Collin LiBee in Eluthar's Style

As part of @parlareart's Art Club stream tonight, I was tasked with an art assignment. To draw a character in a different art style. For this I chose to draw my main I.T. cat character, Collin LiBee. Using the unique style of @eluthar.

And, in case it wasn't obvious. I attempted to recreate the same pose I did in this drawing from 2023.

Cheer up, Copper.

Lead hasn't seen his friend, Copper, in a few days. Growing a bit concerned, he decided to take a trip over to his house and check on him. When he knocked on the door, there was no answer. So he tried the knob, and to his surprise the door was unlocked. He slowly opened the door.

"Hey, Copper. I haven't seen you in a few days. I just wanted to stop by to see if everything was…"

Lead froze for a moment after seeing Copper sitting on his bed, quietly weeping to himself. Lead quickly walked over to the bed and took a seat next to Copper.

"Hey! Hey! Hey!"

Lead put his hand on Copper's Shoulder.

"It's OK, Copper. I'm here. I've got you."

My friend, @malamiteltd, has been feeling really depressed as of late. I wanted to draw something as a way of trying to help console him. I know the past couple of months have been rough for him. And I think he can use some really positive energy right now. In this case, a friend at his side to pat him on the shoulder and let him know that thing's will be OK.

Draw This Again - Star Fox Adventures

As part of @parlareart's new Art Club, I was given an assignment to redraw a picture that I was really proud of from a few years ago. I chose a drawing of Fox McCloud from Star Fox Adventures I drew back in 2008.

I did try this drawing again back in 2017, but I feel like I failed at it spectacularly.

So, now it's 2025 and I figured I'd give it another try. I'd say it came out a tad bit better this time around. I really should try more Star Fox fan art, given that's what I started out doing when I first started joining social media.

Malcolm and Mag's First Valentine's Day

"Oh! hello, Mag. Um… what's with that look?"

Part of the backstory for MyHP involves a love story between Malcolm Abrams and Maggie "Mag" Jones. Initially, when Malcolm first arrives at the Warshaw Academy, he's reluctant to make any friends. That is until he met Mag (…and later Diesel). Despite being reluctant to even be her friend at first, the two end up becoming a couple later on.

This is a scenario that just kinda popped into my head this week revolving around that story. I'm imagining that Malcolm probably wouldn't have paid much attention to the fact that it was February 14th. But that's not going to stop Mag from trying to make him her Valentine.

I'm a bit late for Valentine's Day, I know. But this took a bit more time to put together than I thought it would. And hey, you just can't rush art. But in any case, part of what sparked this was that I heard @malamiteltd hasn't been feeling too well as of late, and I thought a nice Valentine's Day drawing would help cheer him up. Hopefully it will.

Akira Raichu

"Oh, you done messed with the wrong Raichu!"

This is a quick drawing I did for Raichu day. Unfortunately, I finished it a little too late. The thought behind this being "what if Raichu were to do the Akira slide?" I imagine this Raichu would have been knocked backward during battle. I don't think he appreciates that too much.

TO THE ICE CREEEEEAAAAAAM!

First drawing of 2025! FINALLY! Also, a birthday present for CooperTheHusky0

Given that Kottarooi is based on the Louie characters from Bomberman. I had this idea in my head based on the video game Bomberman Fantasy Race. In which Cooper would be riding on Kottarooi's back. You can kinda see the same idea in last month's Christmas drawing. In this case, I feel like they may be on their way to get some ice cream, hence the title of this drawing. XD

Still trying to work on getting used to Krita. I'm going to be experimenting with a few different shading techniques as I move forward. It's still not exactly one of my strengths here. But my goal here was to create something with a bit more action to start the year off. And I feel like this does get the job done.

In any case, I hope that Kottarooi has a great birthday this year and can enjoy this little drawing.
