does anyone else with a shitty family have a fantasy about a good family seeing how poorly you’re treated & deciding to accept you as their own? like ik it’s a common trope in fan fiction, but i mean like you’re genuinely hoping it happens. no one famous, just a genuine good dooer. i want a family so badly. i just turned 22, & every year around my birthday, the hope grows stronger & stronger. maybe one day.

i met a group of black alternative queer people at pride in my hometown the other day, & it’s like God’s answered my friend group prayers

all animals have a place in the ecosystem and that includes humans and im sick of encountering edgelords who say the earth would be better off if we were wiped out. you wanna mess things up for every species that has adapted to live alongside us? as far as i can tell our existance is pretty intertwined with the world we live in, and caring about animals should include caring about humans because we're also animals. so we should probably focus on doing good with the resources we have instead of fantasizing about a big nuclear reset button. you sound like a pokémon villain.

i think it’s really fun to dig, like hands in dirt or sand & dig as deep as possible, so as a kid, i spent a whole summer seeing how far i could dig a hole. my brother was 6 at the time, & when he’d stand in it, it was neck deep. it ended up filling with water in the spring & frogs had their tadpoles in it:,)
