THE SHAMURA STAMPCARD SAGA FINALLY DRAWS TO A CLOSE. This was supposed to go up yesterday, but I lost the lines for 3 of the asks and physically could not bring myself to redraw them. EDIT: I drew leshy and kallamar both as their wounded versions and frankly I do not feel like fixing it ARGH

Today officially marks a year since I started this blog. On april 5th it'll be one year since I started actually interacting with the fandom but I thought it was kinda funny that I ended up posting this incredibly fanservicey comic on my year fandom-versary! I didn't sleep well last night so I don't really have a whole lot of words right now, I'll probably write more of my thoughts on the 5th. So, for now: purple spider good. I like the funny war god. I like drawing them performing silly tasks for people. I have officially thought about this eldritch cult leader every single day for *at least* 365 days in a row. Autism is awesome

Valefar~ He may not be the largest nor the strongest of the wyrmfolk, but his agility, mastery of fire breath, and fire magic set him apart. Before joining the Order of Light, his flames were a source of fear and destruction, a testament to his strength. However, after being brought into the Order some time before the felling of Leshy, his abilities began to stagnate. His defeat and subsequent resurrection greatly diminished his power, leaving his once-potent flames muted and dormant for years.

Aegis initially believed that Valefar’s fire had been extinguished for good, a symbol of his transformation from a force of destruction to a loyal subject of the Order. But to their surprise, after a decade or two of integration into the Order, Valefar’s flames returned. The first time he felt the flicker of his power reignite, he rushed to Aegis, not with fear but with a solemn oath. “I will never use my fire against you again,” he vowed, his voice steady and resolute. From that day, Valefar dedicated himself to proving that wyrmfolk were more than agents of destruction.

Trusting his word, Aegis allowed him to demonstrate his rekindled flames in service to the community. Valefar used his fire not for battle, but to light the Order’s braziers, torches, and the bonfire that warmed the followers on cold nights. He even tended to the great fire pit near Aegis’ shrine, its crackling flames a testament to his commitment to peace. Over time, his actions earned him not only the trust of Aegis but also the admiration of the Order.

Though his fire was once a symbol of wrath, it now became a beacon of warmth, light, and renewal. In Valefar’s transformation, Aegis saw a living example of what the Order of Light stood for: that even the fiercest and most broken could be reborn into something better.
