Terrorists reportedly assaulted the Gidan rail station on the Abuja-Kaduna rail line on Tuesday, only hours after another train was targeted and passengers died on Monday night.

Terrorists allegedly blew up a rail track, disrupting the progress of a train bound for Abuja.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has stated that the successful ambush of a train on the Abuja-Kaduna service by terrorists, who killed many Nigerians and abducted scores more in an operation that lasted over an hour, confirms the PDP's position that President Buhari's security command and control coordination structure has collapsed.

PETER OBI NOMINATED FOR PRESIDENT

He went on to say that the group decided to support Obi's ambition because of his vast experience in administration, economic management, and politics.

If the option of a consensual settlement did not materialize, he expressed confidence that he would be able to clinch the PDP presidential ticket in a free and fair primary.

According to the former governor, a new Nigeria is possible because he meets the requirements as one of the world's economic and social-political leaders to address the country's current tough conditions.

Nigeria vs Ghana: Reaction to an Official's death in Abuja

Joseph Kabungo, a member of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), died during mayhem after a World Cup play-off between Nigeria and Ghana in Abuja.

Kabungo died of suspected heart arrest at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja after Nigerian fans invaded the pitch following their country's elimination by Ghana, according to the Nigerian Football Federation.

After Ghana drew 1-1 to win on away goals and qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Nigerian security officers used tear gas to disperse hundreds of enraged Nigerian fans.

Fans smashed benches and screamed, "Pinnick must go!" referring to the head of the Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick.

According to the NFF, Kabungo was discovered gasping for air near the Ghana changing room while looking for a player for a doping  test.

Attempts to resuscitate the Zambian were unsuccessful, and he was declared dead after being taken to a hospital.

CAF, on the other hand, did not mention the Nigerian fans' riot in a statement released on Wednesday.

Dr. Kabungo, a Zambian, died on Tuesday night, March 29, 2022, while serving as a FIFA Doping Officer at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM qualification match between Nigeria and Ghana in Abuja, Nigeria.

We heard our fathers say in the olden days,

The sun smiles on the environment

The people made ready for farm

Children played around

Our people related well and there was peace,

Then came the foreigners

The jewel of our culture was forgotten.
