like, sure riverdale isn’t great for various reasons (the writing sucks) but everyone was watching it when it first came out, season 1 was incredibly popular. imagine if they had made jughead aro ace (and done it well), there’d be so many high-schoolers/young adults with a basic understanding of aromanticism and asexuality
