Happy disability pride month especially to my fellow folks with learning disabilities 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

I just got into my first choice of uni and major despite spending most of my education with no accommodations for my 2 learning disabilities and having low chances of getting in (based on how I did in my finals) I WILL be out there getting my degree

Please stop trigger tagging with #epilepsy tw/cw/warning/etc.

I need every single person to understand how horrible tumblr’s tagging system is

I go into the tag for epilepsy and its all flashing lights. We can’t use our own tag because people without epilepsy fill it up with improper warnings.

Use ‘flashing’ in place of ‘epilepsy’ in your tags. You aren’t warning people of epileptics, you’re warning us of flashing lights. Please please tag properly. Epileptics say this endlessly and constantly and it’s ignored. You are risking lives by doing this.

oh by the way:

I have legal disability until 2028 now :-) I was given moderate level which in Poland means I am either unfit to work or can only work in protected environments and/or need part time help from other people in daily life

And I have something wrong with my ears might be an infection idk we'll see

sometimes it feels like that kind of people don't even know what any of it means and just throw whatever words they know Mean Bad Thing at people they don't like and hope it sticks 😭
