It's been weeks since that sinful meeting of debauchery in Wayne Tower, and Selina has never rid her mind of the Bat. She can't stop the thoughts, the dreams, or the fantasies that keep her up into the night. When she finally indulged those hopes, a floodgate of desire is burst open. There is no chance now to drown those thoughts...

For those curious about my The Batman (2022) fanfiction on AO3, I am writing the second chapter still. It's gone through multiple revisions and, most recently, I've completely rewritten it. Originally the idea was for Bruce to text Selina because he hasn't heard from her in months (this is now happening in chapter 3). But recently I rewrote it and I'm making chapter two focus on Selina's POV.

I thought that this was a more interesting and fun direction to go into. I can explore more of her personality and motivation this way, and I can pursue delving into her personal thoughts about Batman.

I've always really admired how @cousinrichie has written her version of Selina Kyle so I am taking a little inspiration from her! While I've shown her being dominant in chapter one, I want to explore her vulnerability as well.

I'll try and get a little preview up on here either today or tomorrow.

New AO3 Fic: Giving In

"As soon as Natari had landed in prison, she loathed her existence. She was an assassin, a feared blade that stroke fear into the petty kings of Dorne... how had she even been arrested in the first place?

While trying to hatch a way out, she overhears a devilishly handsome sell sword in the next cell singing. By the look of him, he already knew of a way out. Now the only question was, how was Natari supposed to use that knowledge to get herself out?

Luckily for her, she knew how to manipulate men. This would be easy... right?"

I finally posted something!

One late night, I was desperate... I was craving for a new topic to explore. And it just so happens I was going through a Game of Thrones phase. Not a "I'm gonna watch all 8 seasons" phase but more of a "I'm gonna watch YouTube clips" phase. So I was watching clips, primarily cause I was bored, and stumbled on a scene in a prison. It's the one between Tyene Sand and Bronn, her trying to seduce him and all that. Now normally I wouldn't write something involving seduction or the like because it makes me uncomfortable, I was unfamiliar with it. But I went with it.

After writing the story and shifting the dynamic to where Bronn kind of seduces her (because I like to flip-flop between which partner is the dom/sub) I shared it with @elvhenkind and she suggested I try and shift it to an original story.

So, I kind of did that. Albeit, I am lazy so I literally just switched the names of Bronn and Tyene to other names I found. But regardless... new story posted on my AO3!!

Does anyone know of any good sites to post original-content stories? I always have these sprinklings of ideas for OC short stories ranging from cosmic horror to romance. I want to pursue them, but it never feels worth it if I don't get any type of engagement/interaction with people. I'm always striving to improve my writing style through my fanfiction writing and OC writing, so getting as much engagement as possible is very helpful in this regard.

Perfect setting for a neat cosmic-horror story: "Eyes in the Snow" I do this type of stuff all the time; I go and look for concept art/landscape photos/landscape art and just try to come up with a story that goes with it.

Once I came up with this interesting idea about an arctic expedition that goes wrong when the expeditionary team discovers tentacle-crab monstrosities in the ice. The main scientist character kept on hearing these noises in his head "Skitter-scatter" of something crawling on ice. Eventually, they come across a scene of mutilated corpses, but they can't find the body of the scientist in charge of the expedition... almost like he knew what was going to happen.

I wrote three pages and never came back to it, sadly. Maybe I should revisit it.
