Do you have any advice for tabling at conventions and/or making your own merch? Specifically, acrylic charms.

I don't have much advice for tabling yet unfortunately, I've only attended 1 really small event and didn't sell much at it haha. Ask me in a few months and I'll probably have more to say :)

As for actual production of merch, I learned pretty much everything from Lunachai's merch tutorials! They're super helpful and informative and I still go back and check them regularly.

I'm still largely learning myself, so I don't have a ton of great advice of my own yet.

The one thing I would say would be to get samples of your designs before you order a bunch of them. This will let you catch any mistakes you may have made (you will make mistakes, especially first starting out) while making designs/anything you'd like to change as well as seeing what you *actually* want your charms to look like. You can get a vague Idea of things like charm size and special effects you can add from pictures and descriptions, but that doesn't compare to actually holding something in your hand + You won't know what works best for you until you see it. for example, my first time ordering charms I got them with a holographic finish on top, mostly cause it sounded cool. When I got them though I realized I didn't really like the effect and felt it took away from the art. and just recently I got samples of my newest products (only like 4 in total mind you, getting one of everything would be way too much money and totally unnecessary. just get 1 or 2 of each type and that should be good) and I decided to make some changes to the final product because of them. It does cost extra money, but I feel like it really pays off in the end since you can ensure that you are selling a product that looks the way you want it to.

Hey y'all! Long time no see!

I wanted to tell you guys that I'll be tabling at Emblemcon 2025's Artist Alley May 1st- 4th! I'm so excited for the opportunity and to show off all the stuff I've been working on lately!
