setting idea thats like, youre some girl in this like. english boarding school (or literally any other idea that has the same set in learned helplessness prison world.) and you slowly learn magic powers. and as you grow and use them more, you realize more and more that the world is kind of illusory. kind of like madoka rebellion and vampire gloaming. and the way you use magic doesnt get compensated for if she doesn't notice. and then it gets romantic because, its the move in a game that has been going on for a long time. - magic causes punishment, when it notices that you did it - its like Coraline but with Entity June as Coraline instead like how entity june always pretends to be coraline's mom (and she sort of is) but shes actually more like coraline (has to escape a mental imprison) - "I didnt realize that i was being mean to myself -> you"
