Social Psychology
Attributions - When I see a colleague yawning during work, I might think they're tired or uninterested. If I do well on a
project, I usually attribute it to my own hard work and
dedication. But sometimes, I might blame my failures on
things outside of my control, like not having enough
resources or support. I know biases can influence these
attributions, so I try to be aware of that.
Attitudes - I'd say I lean more towards the cognitive aspect of attitudes. I prefer to base my opinions on concrete facts, evaluating whether I agree with something or not based on
its practicality, functionality, and factual evidence.
Attraction - My attraction towards people is often drawn to diversity. I find it enriching to be around people who have
different mindsets from mine, as it challenges me and
broadens my perspective, rather than just reinforcing my
existing views. However, my close circle has morals similar
to mine that's why they are constant.
Group Influences - The way my personal and social
identities shape me is reflected in my actions and reactions.

Adolesence

When I was in my adolescence, I remember it being a time of exploration. I started experimenting with my own identity, including my hair. One day, I decided to try out curly hair. It was a whole new look for me and I was excited to see how it would turn out.

Cognitive Development

Imaginary Audience - as a teenager I used to stand in front of the mirror, I carefully apply my makeup. I'm aware of how each detail of my appearance might be perceived, as if I'm constantly on stage. I explain every step while applying my makeup to my imaginary audience.

Learning in action

Classical Conditioning - as a child, I have watched Disney
Princess movies (unconditioned stimulus) that made me
feel happy and excited (unconditioned response). So,
whenever I see a Disney princess now, it triggers those
warm, nostalgic feelings from my childhood (conditioned
response) because I have associated them with those joyful childhood moments.

Learning

I experienced operant conditioning alot as a child as it's a
fundamental way to learn about consequences. As a 4 year old girl, my mother used to make me play with clay and
shapes every time I finish my nursery assignment correctly.
This encouraged me to go to the nursery and finish my work early.

Personality

Culture - from a cultural perspective, my personality is
influenced by the Egyptian cultural background. Family
bonds are typically highly valued in Egyptian culture. It's
common to live close to each other and to maintain strong
ties. This made me a family-oriented person.
Human - from a humanistic perspective, my personality is
driven by my innate desire to grow and reach my full
potential. I am a very motivated and ambitious individual,
always seeking personal growth. This is shown in the time
and effort I exert as an architecture student.

Amina

I have lived my life trying to answer the question of
'Who am I?' It has always been a complex journey for me
and what I realized is that I am a fusion of diverse emotions, all housed in one body. It feels like a symphony of feelings,
each playing its own note♥︎
