I fucking love this.

So, as you guys will be seeing pictures of these a lot, I wanted to give you some background before I post progress pictures of my “Star Jar”. So, in previous relationships I’ve had an extremely difficult time looking past little things that upset me or things that made me angry and I tend to dwell on them. So I’ve decided I’m going to do something to fix that. The first time me and my S.O. Facetimed he was singing “Say You Won’t Let Go” by James Arthur and one of the lines is “I thank my lucky stars for that night.”

So a couple days ago I decided I was going to write down anything that made me happy/smile that he did or said, fold it into a lucky star, and put it into this jar and that I’d do this every day. Once it’s full, I’m going to give it to him.

I’ve decided to do this because it gives me something as a physical reminder of why he’s in my life and that he deserves to be here. It reminds me that I started this for a reason and that I need to stop focusing on the things that are small or irrelevant and focus on the happiness and companionship that’s going to come out of this.

TL;DR: I write cute things my boyfriend says on strips of paper and fold them into stars and when I fill this jar he gets them
